These KNU SKOOL trainers are amazing. Great comfort and quality. These are my first pair of Vans for a very long time and I'm so impressed, I'll definitely be buying more. These shoes are pretty comfy, however they're also very flat bottomed, with literally NO COMFY insole, so after a while they really start to hurt. I threw in a cheap memory foam insole and it helps but vans should really throw a better insole in these be size stock they honestly suck.Also the build quality is a bit naff too. I have loose stitching and frayed stitching everywhere. It's a cool shoe, and the puffy younger is nice but that's the only appeal here. The rest of the shoe isn't as padded.These are also true to size.But like I said DEFFO 150% t her ow a memory foam insole in these and thank me later.

The look and fit of them is great, my feet are pretty wide and these fit true to size. Great looking shoe love them.But real shame that it has a really thin sole.Expected something more akin to the skate shoes of the past given the styling .If it had the comfy Cush sole would be 5 Star all day long
I am an ahem (more mature customer) and a child of the 80s and 90s hence I have a move for the fat skate shoe style. The style changed towards the thin slip on style. These however blend both old with Knu style so you get a blend of both. They are also very comfy and have the fat tongue cushioning.
Used to buy vans all the time until the styles changed and it's all been canvas and slip on pump type shoes. First time I've seen chunky skate shoes from vans for years and first pair I've bought from vans for years, love the style of them, still got the vans look with a bit more padding and chunkiness added, just like the vans of the past. Very cool shoes and very comfortable too. Quite a 90s skate shoe style to them. Love them.
Like others, I love the chunky look of these trainers, they take me straight back to the 90s!Not usually one for white shoes, but I like the off-white features and the great strip, a bit of something different. Look very solidly built.The only flaw I find is that the tongue is too thick and therefore not flexible, digging their edge into my feet as I walk, nevermind skating - 90s shoes didn't have this problem back then, it would be good to have this addressed. Another thing: would have been nice to see these with comfycush insoles.
Love these. The tongue and ankle/heel have padding for extra comfort like the vans of old while keeping the newer canvas style. I changed the laces for some fatter style ones as i like the look more than the thinner ones these come with. Very comfortable and if you got wider feet like me then these will definately be for you.
Absolutely adorable, comfort, style, look, amazing overall really happy about my purchase. They are really cute! I was so happy that when told my friend, she said she was inspired by my story and bought one pair for herself too! She loves them also!P.S. oh and it comes with extra shoe laces in bright pink!!!
They look great, loads of padding on the sides and tongue. Didn't think that vans classic old school needed to change but this is a nice change/version (DC-esk). The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is that I thought the soul of the shoe was softer like on the SK8 HI MTE-2 shoes, I use them for work and they are fine for now but after standing in them for an 8 hour shift your feet can hurt, but I think they are perfect for skating.
