You have to get the laces right and pull the tongue forward, but it reminds me of the emo/skate days!For the laces they look and feel great pulled loose so the padded tongue doesn't hurt your instep. Ive had lots of compliments about them, and now have 3 pairs.These shoes are very comfortable and i love how they look. I just wish you got a free sticker with them like you do every other pair! or something else special.

I saw these knu skool kicks and instantly fell in love. The colour looked super fresh and the style a nod to the 90s while still feeling modern. I was a little nervous as I looked them up on a few different sites before buying to see if I could find some reviews, and I found some pics which showed the colouring looking quite grey as opposed to the kinda creamy vibe you get in the Vans.co.nz pics. And tbf, it is not quite cream, but more of a taupe than a grey, so colour combo is definitely still awesome. Been rocking these a lot since I got them, and bought the stacked knu skool pink ones with the metallic laces, and they are easily one of my fave shoes in my wardrobe at the moment. Highly recommend. When I saw these online I was so about it. Once I got them and tried them on. I wasn't a fan. Just my opinion. They look like old school skater shoes. So they are wide. They are a very tight fit. I just wish I loved them!! They would look funny in skinny jeans or leggings, on me. Maybe I just need to have them grow on me maybe!

I was really looking forward to these arriving, but I was sorely disappointed! They are ridiculous. They're heavy clunky things with a puffed up tongue and sticky out pieces on the sides. Also more of an pff white colour, but the pieces on the side are white. Really uncomfortable and just awful!

So far as pink trainers go, they're epic. And knu skool are INSANELY cool. Such padding around the foot, very much the OG skate shoe vibes I had in the 90s - 00s. Build quality and finish is absolutely on point, they're better than Nike and probably the best fit and finish for a trainer I've ever seen. Really impressed. The inner sole and comfort is like all vans, being flat and thinner inside so the thick padded comfort is around the foot and not under it.. I can't speak to that as my feet wouldn't fit inside the size I bought. To skate, ideal sure for that board feeling and the good stuff. I ... I really like the look of the shoe, but wouldnt use it to walk for long periods. Use it for when you know youre sitting down for longer periods than walking. The bottom of the shoe is fully flat with 0 support which doesnt help someone like me with flat feet. Beautiful shoe however, and would reccommed
I love the unique style of the shoe. I bought them for my grandson. He says he wears the everyday. He really loves them. They are a beautiful two tone color and he says very comfortable. I will be buying him more products from you. Thank you for the great price as well.
Bought my first pair in 2005 (puffier, early 00s version of this shoe). I begrudgingly threw them out around 2014-2016 because they smelled so bad that no effort to clean them worked anymore. They were a little faded, a little beat up....but otherwise still functioned and had held up FOR A DECADE. I've bought about 10 different pairs of vans in the past 5 years, (including these)....they wear out fast. You're lucky to get a couple months out of them before the glue no longer holds and they start peeling in multiple places on both shoes. Prices are up, quality waaaay down
I got the bright pink ones & love them. At first I wasn't sure about the puffy tongue, but they look great on. Most importantly, they are very comfortable. Minimal break in time & they were comfortable out of the box. Easy to slip on & off without re-tying the laces. They come with white laces also. I was told that they have the comfy Cush technology which is my favorite. I'm getting other colors & slip-in's as well. These almost make up for Vans not making a mule Old Skool this year...almost.
You can't miss with this Knu classic-fast shipping, great fit, and super stylish. My son received so many compliments! We liked them so much, I got a pair in black and white for myself! The only drawback is that they don't come with an alternate pair of laces. A basic white in the size-appropriate length would have been amazing! The laces are very cute, but I would have liked a more "casual" lace for the more chill, effortless aesthetic. With that being said, I'll purchase a pair elsewhere. Other than that, buy them! Quick!
