The look of this shoe is amazing. While they can seem a bit wide, they're not overly proportioned. The only warning I have is that only the front half of the bottoms is rubber. The back half is foamy. So while they are super comfortable they may be prone to damage. I'd advise being careful when cleaning that area in particular if you use any products to restore your shoes. All in all I would suggest others to buy these if they don't mind the foam, as it makes these Van's feel super light but not cheap by any means. Attached images shoe wear the rubber ends and the foam begins.

I agree with all the previous reviews...these Vans are EXTREMELY comfortable. There was no break-in period. Comfortable from day one. Love the look. They immediately became one of my favorite shoes!
My first pair of High-Top Sneaker Vans (black) and they are instantly my favorite. Very comfy. Nice fit. True to size. Durable. They come with waterproofing enabled on the pair but I also used DSW weather proofing spray (can) for extra protection. I dig ‘em! You will too. I used a 20% DSW promo code for a deal too.
Cool Vans. Needed sneakers for cooler weather. Like the suede and canvas. They run true to size and pretty comfortable for all day walking around.
The price point is great but I ordered these online, and they came with one new and one that look used. I took them back to the store and reordered. Then I got the same situation when they came in AGAIN. One has felt that appears notably faded and the other is a crisp black. One is laced up and smashed and the other has a shoe insert and is well preserved.
I've been eyeing these for my son for ages and was so excited when they went on sale, but alas they were a disappointment. The reviews raved about the comfort, but there was hardly any more padding than in his traditional Vans, which have essentially no arch support. Strike one. They also run a lot smaller than other Vans in our experience. My son wears a 9.5 in traditional Vans, and the 10.5 was virtually the same length. Wierd!
I’m an old school vans guy been wearing them for decades so I was skeptical when my bought me a pair of these I work in a motorcycle shop and stand all day I can hardly wear the old school ones all day anymore my feet are killing me by the end of the day . These are supportive, comfortable and very light I can wear them all day without my feet killing me I love them
I love these, they are super comfortable and a great hybrid between running shoes and street shoes. Awesome style too, but of course the whites get dirty very fast and need to be cleaned often.Would have rated 5 stars, but the color of these black shoes is not as described. I returned them because the stitching was all white instead of black as shown in the picture, which ruined the look of the shoe.
