⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall a perfect & practical bag for school and just casual everyday use. It's big enough to carry avg. sized school books (could probably fit a binder too, haven't tried it though) which is very useful as they fit perfectly inside the interior sleeve (the sleeve could likely fit a MacBook if needed. The overall outer design of the bag is nice too.The only thing I dislike about this bag is that inside the bag on the front side its the same material as the outside of the bag but white. Personally I don't like that but that's literally my only complaint. The rest of the bag (inside and out), as I already said, is perfect.Would recommend! 🌟

Changed for no reason

I used to have this exact same checkered bag for a few years, and it was great. Due to having it so long and it being so good i decided to buy the same again. They removed the inside back pocket of this bag for absolutely no reason, and added a bottle holder which is way more useless. The back compartment was the main one i used. This bag now has only two compartments. Pointless and annoying

Cute

This backpack is really cute but needs more pockets. Here in Texas, certain school districts make students carry a 2-3” binder, a workbook also 2” thick, spirals, a 1” band binder, and all of their supplies due to a lack of lockers. It looked really big in the picture, however with all of these things she has to carry, we really have to jam all those things in her backpack. Though it is not the company’s fault, I do believe more pockets and a side pocket on either side(for a water bottle/drink) of the backpack could be added.

Definitely not what we had hoped for

Both my nephew and niece have vans backpacks and they were much better quality. When we took this one back to the store we could see that the different patterns had very different qualities even though they are sold for the same price. The red and white checkers colour was bleeding together and the fabric was super thin and crinkly, the straps were cheap foam and very uncomfortable. Very disappointed!

Just purchased for my daughter for her back to school shopping! Couldn't be happier with the purchase! It the perfect size for school, will hold lunch at and folders and is super durable material!

Its a bag!

Great bag. Hold everything I need it to hold. Handy side pockets for juice bottles on family trips out. Looks good and comfy straps. What more do you want from a bag.

Lightweight backpack not made for laptops/heavy books

I thought it would be made stronger. Not that sturdy and very lightweight. It can’t handle heavy things like a laptop and lots of books.Made for only light items. My son took it to school and it’s already tearing up along the seams. Vans please make one like this but to handle laptops and heavy books please!

Pretty good for a messy mom

Not a whole lot of organizational options. Just one large compartment and one small compartment. No inside zippers or pockets or even pen holders or key keepers. I’m kind of a mess anyways, so it doesn’t bug me, but if you like things organized, you will have to supply your own ingenious devices. It is a GREAT backpack for a purse. Can hold several juice pouches, snacks, iPads, books, crayons. (And anything else a non-mother might like)

perfect for my middle school student

We love vans backpacks. it has a water bottle holder and lots of room and compartments inside. Sturdy and vans always holds up and we find it to be the best brand around!
