I got these for my daughter-who has ASD and developmental delays-because my order for the Autism Acceptance gray with red hearts was canceled by Vans due to inventory issues. The Velcro old skools gave her blisters on both her heel and the front of her ankle while wearing cushiony Vans ankle socks. The shoes fit her length wise, but the tongue doesn't stay in place and she kept complaining and asking me to adjust it. I'd return them, but she's already worn them. I ordered some slip-ons to try. I got her slip on Autism Acceptance Vans last year and she loved them. She wore them to the ground for a year without any problems or complaints-which says a lot. Good service. Fast delivery. Easy to manoeuvre website. The shoes themselves gave my son a massive blister on his heel. Really cut into the back of his foot after the first time wearing them. Ok with a plaster. But I've had to buy him some different trainers now cause im worried these ones will hurt his feet while he's at school. When he was a toddler, these were ok for him. But now he's bigger, not so much.

Perfect indoor shoe for younger ones at school. Both my boys have the same pair because they loved them so much! Easy to thrown in washing machine. Fit is a bit bigger--my younger son is in an 8K for every other shoe, but the 7.5K fits him better in Vans.

Shoes were super cute and, as usual, arrived quickly. However, they didn’t even last 3 months before falling apart. The glitter comes off leaving the shoes looking dirty, but I could deal with that. But, the sole is already tearing away from the toe. We received these on 8/13 and by 10/26 we are throwing them away. Terrible, terrible quality.
These shoes are perfect. My son has worn these shoes for years now. Easy to put on. He can run, jump and play in them with no problem. Having half sizes is perfect as well to ensure he's always comfortable. Not to mention they match everything. Thank you Vans!
They’ve literally only lasted three weeks. Rubber is all worn away and the sole has a now coming apart from the shoe. Six year olds are not the most delicate of creatures but our son can usually get through a pair of ASICS and r Nike until they get too small. For a $90 pair of shoes the quality is atrocious
Ok, I absolutely love these shoes! They go with single outfit I have and they are very cute for every occasion. Just for context, I am 5'3" and a size 9 in women's shoes and I bought this pair in a size 7 JUNIORS and they fit perfectly. Only reason I am giving these vans a 4 stars due to these shoes taking forever to break in, making it very painful for the first few weeks of wearing, kinda gave me some blisters on the back of my ankle. Wanted some everyday shoes that's easy for my child to put on himself. Can't find any Velcro shoes in his size other than Vans. My son is a size 11 and has wide feet, per the reviews it, I sized up to a 12 thinking he would still have a little room to grow. Well, they fit perfectly without socks, a little tight wearing thin socks. Although cute, they're not too comfortable, some converse would be better.
We bought this for my daughter because we were doing matching shoe pictures for Christmas. I didn't know how much I would actually love these on her until we put them on. The fit was great, I did not feel that her foot was being smashed at all, it seem like it had enough room for growth, and could support her as she does did her toddler stumbles and runs.Overall very impressed with the shoe, would definitely buy again in the future
This is the best toddler shoe around! The one company that even holds a candle is See Kai Run. The tongue is the perfect length so it doesn’t get bunched up when you try to put their foot in like Stride Rites do. The straps are easy to take on and off but not too easy where your child will be ripping off their own shoes. It has a nice wide entry making it easy to put on, and the materials are indestructible. The rubber doesn’t scratch with rough concrete/blacktop play, and the body of the shoe doesn’t wrinkle or get mishapen like Toms. Best shoe I’ve bought for my 2 year old.
