I bought these mostly for comfort, as I'm at an age where the regular Old Skools are too flat for me. They're indeed comfortable and still give a similar look to the classic model. I took one star because I really don't like the unfinished tongue, and another star because ASOS sent me someone's returned shoes that were kinda covered in cat hair.

I needed some casual but cute shoes for walking about in. I was also wooed by the half-price sale and the word 'comfy' in the title of these shoes. Don't be fooled. They look great, and the soles are probably comfortable enough when one is not focused on the violence being inflicted upon the heels. Within minutes of wearing them, the backs of my feet resembled something out of a slasher film. I'm hoping heel grips and some good quality blister plasters might help, once the wounds have heeled. Or perhaps the shoes will be relegated to the back of the wardrobe with all the other adorable but murderous footwear I've acquired on a whim over the years.

Brought these a few weeks ago. Due to the design of the heel part, these destroyed my feet with blisters for the first week or two until worn in. Once worn in they are comfy and versatile and I'd recommend. You've been warned about the heels though!
I really wanted to keep these but for the price they are even with discount they just aren't comfortable enough. The back part rubs against my heel, if that wasn't so high I would probably keep them. Shame as they look really good apart from that.
Wasn’t impressed with the overall look. They looked like they weren’t finished been made. You can see the foam on the tongue of the runner, doesn’t have the vans logo either on them. Very comfortable and that was the only reason I kept them.
I bought these a few days before I went for 2 weeks at Disney World, I wore them all day every day for 2 weeks and they were SOOOO comfy right from the first time. Highly recommend these trainers. Comfy and stylish.
I have been a solid Vans fan for over 15 years and this is the first pair that I haven't liked. The quality is really poor and the finish on the outside stitching and inside of the shoe were really not the standard I'd expect from Vans. I have chosen not to return them based on the comfycush insole which is extremely comfortable under my sensitive feet, but, looks wise and quality wise they are a huge disappointment.
Maybe I’m expecting too much but I was gutted when these arrived and the sides of the tongue aren’t fully stitched and you can clearly see the foam inside. I felt for the money you’re paying, I’d expect better quality. Eventually it seemed to me that the material would peel away from the foam and look shabby and it wasn’t a risk I was willing to take. I also thought these came up small for Vans. I usually take a UK 7 in Era’s. I bought a UK 7.5 in these and they were too small.One positive, I did like the overall chunky style and the soles were comfy and had a nice bounce to them. But in the end I decided this didn’t outweigh the negatives and I returned them and didn’t re-order in a bigger size.
