I bought my oldskool vans a few weeks ago online. I originally bought them in a size 6 but they were too small for me. It was my fault as I assumed they ran big. I called my local store and they were very accommodating and happy to exchange them for me.They didn’t have my actual size and I decided to get a 7. After wearing it two times I feel like I should have shipped then back and have waited to get the 6.5. They are nice shoes but they are slightly big on me. Again, my fault. These shoes are definitely true to size…lesson learned.

I absolutely loved these shoes until this year and am so disappointed that they are being discontinued. I had my previous pairs for 2years plus each but when I bought my new pair in November 23, it lasted less than a month. All the sides had come completely apart and looked worse than the shoes I had for 2tears. This happened again after I took them back and when I returned to swap them, I found they are being discontinued. These shoes were by far my day to day staple and now I am so annoyed and disappointed that instead of fixing the manufacturing issue, they are discontinuing all together.

I bought these in both black and white because they look great and I’ve owned several pairs of vans in the past and they’re so comfortable. This unfortunately after several wears still hurt after long periods, but mine is at the front. Theyve definitely made the front more narrow and it’s less comfortable. House read the reviews before purchasing as now it’s way too late to return.

Lovely shoe. Vans has a large selection but unfortunately being size 2.5 not so much in the platform style but came across these and decided on this colour. I was not disappointed when they arrived. They are comfortable, stylish and give just alittle height. Ordering was easy and delivery was good. Alittle heads up though you do need to sign for them, cannot be left in safe place.Just wish they did more colours in my size.
I bought these shoes for work, and don’t get me wrong they were very comfortable and looked nice, but after a while the sole came away from the shoe. I’ve seen other people on external websites mention this too and I think it’s due to the extra weight on the sole being attached to a canvas, lightweight shoe. They still lasted me a good few months and I was wearing them 5 days a week- but they’ve definitely not lasted as long as any of my regular vans
I had been searching for the perfect white sneakers to wear on my endless walks around New York City. Found! These are so chic. They look great with jeans, dresses, everything. And so comfortable! And I love the little lift. So pleased.
These are so comfy, they are the first pair I’ve had that several people have complimented me on. They are a little weird on the sizing I found the shoe was really narrow and tight I returned them and went into a local store and tried them on in the next size up and they were too big so tried my original size again and they were perfect ? I don’t know if they were labeled incorrectly or made differently but worth trying another size as these are my favourite ones so far!
As you can see on the website, sporting life labels these as a women's shoe. I ordered my regular size a women's size 8.5 and when they arrived, I had been sent a men's size 8.5 which is a women's size 10. When I contacted customer service they insisted that this is a unisex shoe and that I should have known that and ordered the appropriate men's size. I took pictures of their website and explained to them that they clearly are labelling it as a women's shoe and therefore anyone would order their women's size when ordering. Not only did they fight me on the ability to return this through the mail, they continued to tell me that it was my error and that it is clearly a unisex shoe. Not only did they fight me on the ability to return this through the mail, they continued to tell me that it was my error and that it is clearly a unisex shoe. As you can see, they have not yet fixed the website and it still is being sold as a women's shoe so I can only imagine how many people are getting the wrong size and being blamed for it. Also, they do not refund the $10 shipping charge even though they made the mistake in the first place so essentially I paid sporting life $10 for shipping on their own error and received horrible customer service. Definitely won't be shopping here again but these Vans are super cute in the appropriate size so I'll be purchasing them directly from Vans or another Canadian retailer that I trust.
This is regarding the champs website sizing guidelines, not the actual shoe. It says to order 1.5 size down from your original, which is normal for Vans shoes since they are unisex. I wear 8.5 in women's and ordered a size 7 (as specified). I ended up receiving a size 7 in women's/5.5 men's. When I reached out to customer service, one agent sent a replacement for the exact same wrong size (size 7 women's). When I talked to another agent, I asked for the shoe to just be 8.5 since I knew by now that they have them in women's sizes and not men's. The agent kept telling me I should place an order for a 7.5 because if they sent me an 8.5 they would be too big and I was like what are you saying??!?!?!? Literally all my Vans shoes are W8.5/M7, just send me the right shoe!
These shoes are cute, but they broke pretty easily. The canvas and midsole started separating only a couple weeks after I got them and recently, after about half a year of wear, the whole sole split in half. My other vans, the non-platform version of these, have lasted me twice as long and I had expected these to do the same. I enjoyed them while they lasted, but definitely won't be buying again.
