Super comfortable once broken in. Vans always try to take out my baby toes but once they're broken in they're very comfortable for me. I have flat feet so i prefer the skate models. I don't BMX so i can't comment on their abilities there but the colourway is fresh and i love them. very aesthetic shoes suit my style perfectly.

These shoes fit a little wide when compared to Nikes or NBnumerics but still are a classic. Skateboarder for over 12 years mostly skate the bowls and the vert ramps, but never dirty to ride anything else skating is skating ! The classic old skool vans shoe is a style icon, but also such a comfy shoe while you're riding.Classic Old skool is a super nice an comfy shoe to shred in. Only thing that is not really durable of this shoe is that the insole isn't super powerful, so that means i personally would't reckon the skate big set of stairs with it. Outside of that the stitching is staying whole for a long time and the top of your toe doesn't rip as fast as the normal old skools.Great shoe overall ! Especially if you have a little wider feet than general. stylish and iconic can't go wrong with that !

I have been able to progress and land so many new tricks since getting these shoes and even when you are just riding around on your board they have a great feel on the skateboard. They also don’t give you blisters like many other skate shoes and are really well and nicely made. The different components blend really well together with the canvas and the leather vans symbol along with the softer upper near your feat so you don’t end up with holes in the top of your shoes. I honestly think that Vans Old Skool will always be fashionable but not the most comfortable shoes. I’m used to cushioning and these shoes are just simple casual shoes, you can dress up or dress down but make sure you don’t use it for a long period of time, you most likely will have blisters. Runs true to size, I did not find it super narrow or anything. If anything they’re slightly bigger. Overall for the price I’m satisfied.
Totally awesome. They look the business. Come with fat, 1cm wide white laces plus a spare pare of conventional size, 0.8cm black laces so you can chop and change. Beware, come with comfy cush style inners which reduced the room for your feet across the top and toes. Tip: if you have this problem, take out the inner, sole which is removable, slice with abread knife at an angle about half way down so there's a gradual taper and glue in. Then you get that heel support but still get room for your feet.
Worn vans old skool for as long as I can remember and again these are a great addition to my collection. The colour has grown on me as wasn't to keen at first. I'd of given 5 star for one slight issue and that where the back of the white sole nears the vans logo has come unglued from the sole, seems to be a problem with vans as its not the first pair I've had do this. Like I understand general wear and tear but I've had these for less than 2 weeks whereas my old skool Pro shoes are still intact. Do you use different glues for the old skool and old skool Pro versions of your shoe?

I wasn’t sure about sizing since I previously owned Vans Authentic and had to go a half size down. I wear a women’s 7.5 in almost all my shoes, (ie Converse Chucks) but occasionally I need to go down to a 7, which I did for my Vans Authentic since 7.5 was too loose. I read many reviews for the Old Skool and some said size up, some size down, others true to size. Since it was pretty confusing I decided to just go with what I got before in Vans and got a size 7 women’s. While the 7 does fit, they are a bit tight and uncomfortable. My toes have zero wiggle room, which is a most for me, as I hate my foot feeling cramped. I’ll be returning for a 7.5 since I love the shoes otherwise!
