As others have noted, the new sole disintegrated within days from light use, which Vans needs to address.The customer service team responded straight away, but I'm reluctant to purchase another pair until the sole issue is rectified.

I'm usually very happy with your products, some shoes ive used daily for 5 years and no scratches. But this one is not good, the outer lining of the sole realesed after just a few uses. I got two pairs and same issue with both.
Fine, but not poor quality for the price. They're nowhere near as high quality as previous Vault version, or even the Anaheim ones. The canvas feels thin and the foxing cheap, it also doesn't wrap up around the toe as much as other two mentioned above. The heel cup is wider than usual and the material seems flimsy meaning it bulges strangely. The insole is more padded, which is a plus but given the other issues, it's a small consolation.
Shoe is nice but had to send back the 10 and the 9.5 when I am a size 10 in every other shoe, including the regular vans Authentics so I would buy at least one size down.
