Love these sneakers! They're comfortable and have a sleek silhouette. The low profile and sleek, deep suede are exactly what I've been looking for in a classic high-top design. They're not too narrow (a problem I've found with some other classic designs) but they do fit large, so perhaps consider a half or even full size down. One minus side - the soles, while grippy, are quite soft so wear down pretty quickly. Good price.

I ordered these as I already had a pair of SK8-HI in grey/white and found them really comfortable and lightweight. I wanted some in black - so I ordered these. The description says they're lightweight, but when they arrived and I took them out of the box I thought "these seem quite heavy" ... so I weighed one of these and weighed one of the grey/white shoes ... the black shoe was pretty much TWICE the weight! Looking at the descriptions it seems these are leather, whilst the grey/white ones I have are a combination of suede, canvas and leather which probably explains the weight difference ... that said, there's no way I would describe these ones as lightweight, weighing around 750 grams per shoe as opposed to around 350 grams for the grey/white ones I had. I got the multi-color version of this shoe for a trip to Japan. I knew would be walking around a lot but wanted something a little cuter than running shoes. These exceeded my expectations, they were so comfortable and i didn't get blisters or anything even though I had not broken them in. They add some flair to every outfit and I have gotten a ton of compliments on them. don't be intimidated by fun shoes!!!

I bought these for my boyfriend in the size he normally wears in shoes. He has pretty wide feet and he says they're a little uncomfortable. They look great, but I think Vans doesn't accommodate wide feet as well as other brands. Something to consider if you have wider feet.
I use these for basically anything, i use them when i go to sixth form, and work and for everyday use. i live high tops so their great. Very comfortable and easy to wear. Matches anything. only thing that is annoying is the tounge moves to the side very often but isn't something i could put the review down for.
I really like these, I've had a pair in the past that got worn out over the years so bought a new pair. Giving 4 stars as they are very flat with little arch support but there is enough space for an insole, and I would love the addition of elastic on the tongue (as on the ComfyCush shoes). I have wide feet and am usually a 41 / 7.5 and they fit great.
I have a little bit of a wide foot, and don't find too much issue with fit now that theyre broken in. They have a simple style, look dope, and are durable, making them great for skating. What more can you ask for? there's a reason theyre a classic!
Bought these for grandson as I had recently bought him a lighter pair for his birthday but in bad weather they will soon get dirty. He finds these so comfy, loves them. I did use a waterproof spray to help keep our usual wet weather out. Would buy again.
I had the canvas versions of these, which lasted me about 4 months before they were worn out. As they're so comfy and I wear them every day for work I decided to upgrade to these suede versions and I'm so glad I did - they are waterproof to an extent, warm even in the icy weather we've been having recently and just as comfy! 100% worth the extra money over the canvas ones, I will be repurchasing once my new ones are worn out for sure
DON'T WASTE MONEY! I've been wearing Vans for about 30yrs, always slip-ons. For my most recent pair I decided to give black Sk8 hi a go. I'm saddened to say I wish I hadn't. Within 1 week the sole came away on both sides of one shoe. Within 3 weeks the inside material has worn off and flaked away. I wear then about an hour a day. Gutted, disappointed, let down.
