Do you have a teen that refuses to wear actual winter boots? Do they want to walk around all winter in running shoes? These boots are a decent compromise in style, look and function. The outer look is typical ‘Vans’’ Look while the thick outer sole and water resistant material (and light insulation) are leaps and bounds over actual running shoes. This actual model, the MT-1, it’s the least weatherproofed boot Vans have. This is a nice boot, but… If your budget can permit it, look into the MT-3 boot which has a Goretex liner, better insulation and grippier outer sole.This boot gets 4* because it’s not as good as it’s bigger brother, the MT-3

This sneaker is a little heavy but is weatherproof and perfect for winter if you don’t want to wear boots. I had to return it because i am in between sizes. Otherwise I would have kept it. I love the sneaker look in winter and this would have been great! It seems like it would be warm enough for most of the winter unless there’s a lot of snow.

I love the look/style, they feel amazing and are so comfy. Not so easy to get on and off without having to loosen all the laces though. But besides that. Brilliant trainers.

True to size. Can even go up 1/2" size for thicker socks if needed. Looks exactly like the pic. Gorgeous green color. Nice padding and very comfortable.My first pair of Van's. I normally wear Chuck Taylor Converse Sneakers.Very impressed with the suede material, sharp lines , affordable prices and sporty appearance. Highly recommend.
Super comfortable. Definitely not your standard vans. Has a fluffy inside which feel comforable and soft. Great design too. Been looking for checkered hi tops for a while and definitely got more than I bargained for with the mte-1s. If you want a pair of vans that are more for just style and skating, definitely would recommend these. Can be used for more outdoor activities like hiking.
I originally bought the wrong size. They were too tight. I purchased the correct size, had those shipped quickly, and had my original purchase amount returned to me within a timely manner. Very satisfied with the entire purchase process.The shoes overall are very stylish and very comfortable. These are my first pair of Van's and I look forward to buying more in different colors. These are really good shoes. I was looking for the black Ultrarange Exo MTE-1's but they were sold out in my size so I got these instead. After a week of wearing them I ordered another pair to keep in storage in case these get discontinued like the aforementioned pair.Shout out to Sun & Ski for having these!
My first two pairs of MTE1 Vans and I absolutely love them. Bought two colours as I got a good deal, but even without they're well worth the money.I've Vans in both a 5.5 and a 6. For these I went for the 6. They fit just perfect and no breaking in required! My feet have been very snug. Already looking at purchasing another colour....
I'm a snug 11 in every other pair of of shoe I own, most of which are vans. These shoes say 11, but are easily a size 13. I have a full inch and a half in the toe. Otherwise seem nice, but I don't get it. No one with a size 11 foot would fit these. And now the price has gone up 30 bucks so if I return and buy the... I dunno size 9? I'm paying way more for the same shoe. So weird. Size down big time. Even with multiple pairs of thick socks these are still huge. Bummed.
Thought I’d be too old for these but my daughter said nope, they are perfect. My 70 yr old friend loved so much that she bought a pair too, and she is styling!. I think they run large as I had to size down from my regular 7, to a 6. They are adorable, have a nice cushion to them, and are very comfortable. I love the cheetah liner around the ankle. These were a steal and so fun!
