It helps with wear on the shoes but not a necessity. The shoes on their own will provide enough value over the years. Then it would be better to buy new ones. Unless your Vans are some limited edition version, this is very optional.

The shoes came in a ripped shoe box, with shredded tissue paper, badly tied laces, and scuffs of the soles. Had they have not been so cheap id have returned immediately.These are clearly a customer return!!! Is this normal for ASOS to resell items like this? What a let down.

I unsubscribed from Vans emails as they spammed my inbox after purchasing this item. Despite doing so I got another review request the very next day. Always give them a burner. Can't comment on the product, I've only had it a week.
Love these shoes! I think they are almost the best shoes I've ever bought. I need to wear flat, zero drop shoes and these fit the bill. My toes are not squashed and they are just downright comfortable. I want all the colours!

shirt has good texture and nice minimalist logo that is easy to match with other apparels. just seems to be one size bigger than other brands so the XXL I got felt more like a XXXL
Love them and use them every day. Normal sizing. The only reason for not giving them five stars; they are pain to get on. But that's the same as all higher shoes, so it's not a specific problem for these shoes.
