Personally it is the shoe that I like the most for bowl skating because of the way it grips my foot. The only flaw is that the sole wears out very quickly, in 2 months they already have a hole.
I skate mini ramp and flat ground. Everyone knows half cabs the best skate shoe. 4 stars cause they only provided one pair of not durable laces.
If you skate transition these are a must have in your skate shoe arsenal. Tons of padding on top and underfoot. Vans rubber is always sticky and provides great board feel. The leather tops are necessary if you bail in the bowl; otherwise a few knee slides and your shoes are gone. Go on get'em!
Wanted to.like these. Ordered the same size intypically run in Vans and they are waaaay too narrow across the briddge of the foot. They were putting my foot to sleep. With a lot of wear the insoles are compressing and its atretching enough to whre they arent pinching my pinky toe off anymore so.i may still get to wear them but id recommend half sizing up. As far as the shoe itself, its a half cab. Im.not i love with.all.the modern vans touches like the red rubber cap.where the vulc meets (whata wrong with it being the same.color as the outsole? )and i cut that ridiculous checkered tab off the heel immediately. The silhouette is.mostly the same and im.glad they are back to.using the fabric half cab label over the horrible embroidery they did in the past. Id also like ... MoreWanted to.like these. Id also like to see some classic colorways from the 90a again, ( olive, brick, aqua,etc). They are still the cadillac of vans shoes with good.padding and ankle stability due to th midtop. If you can live with.the littl weird modern vans styling details its 90 percent the half cab you know and love. Just try them on first
Love the look and feel. A little bummed that you don't get a sticker anymore and now not even the extra laces. I get it for the fashion version, but what you pay for skate shoes throw in some laces!
Got the shoes in the mail put em on next thing I knew my girl was pregnant would recommend. But please don't lace the shoes up I'd rather do it myself.
These are a present for our grandson. He likes this type of skateboarding shoes.
It's not the color I wanted. I wanted grey with black souls.They are not all leather anymore.
They're great. I wish they had black laces with them. Most all of my other Vans came with 2 lace colors.
