I love these shoes. They are my second favorite style next to the slim fit high top. And just like the slim fit high top, I made the mistake of not buying a second pair in my favorite color before they were sold out forever.If you are looking for:- A closer fit shoe / slim profile- Slightly lower high top than the traditional style- You did not like the tapered high top because of the inside leather- Enjoy the look of a high top with a skinny jeanThen do yourself a favor and BUY THESE SHOES before they are gone!!Photos of my very worn whites!

I purchased one pair from an official vans store and 2 months later the black rubber delaminated from the side and started splitting. Thought it was a one off so i got another pair and not only did both sides delaminate again but also one of the loop shoelace holes tore through. I only wear these for walking so unfortunately this is a very low quality shoe. I have emailed them regarding this issue with pictures and they didn’t offer anything in response. Pretty bad customer service on top of it so I won’t be buying anymore Vans.

The Tortoise print is gorgeous. I'm not too pleased about the suede material on the top of the foot part of the shoes. It looks like suede that's been saturated with liquid that hasn't dried and it appears different than the suede on the other parts of the shoes. Shoes had no paper inside then to keep the shape and there were a few dye stains on the white parts but I can remove those with a gentle cleanser. The fit is true to size, nice width, and lightweight. I love that the shoestring ends and first 2 shoestring holes have Tortoise detail. I recommend seeing them in store before purchasing.

Literally took these from the box and put them on my feet at the skate park. Usually new shoes trip me up, but there was no break-in period with these. The transition was seamless. I'm a little older and don't typically skate in Vans b/c I need extra support upon impact, but this sole seems to have both board feel and enough cushion for me. It's only been a week but I'm super happy with these so far. If you're on the fence size wise, would recommend sizing up. Oh, and they look really great, too!
So these would be 100% buy again but, my favorite pair are the brown black soles. Had those for about a year and wear them when I'm trying to look nice. The black pair I bought a few months ago and they haven't failed me yet. The same week I received the black pair my brown pair started separating from the sole and I'm really bummed. These shoes are so comfortable and the tread is great. But my favorite pair is falling apart with very little use.
I find it hard to get skate shoes that; a) fit me (I’m only a US men’s 4); b) meet my very specific (it’s all psychological!) skate shoes need to be able to feel the deck; c) excite me in terms of style and design.I just bought these Lizzie’s today and took them for their first skate. I've always liked vans, and wore them for a good while. But when I saw the first drop of them I Loved the tan/beige color way. I got it and it was my favorite shoe. Now I have 4 pairs, 2 retired, my brown ones, the black and white, all black and then the sesame Street edition ones. If your thinking about getting it I would definitely try them out, another addition is the back pull tag thing with her name on it is super awesome for getting them on. My only problem is that I have to double knot them or else they come out easily.
I was looking for an all black high top and was leaning towards the sk8 hi. I found these and never heard of them before...let me tell you. I was shocked and impressed. Putting them in, the comfort level is top notch. Feels like the shoe is hugging your foot and the heel to toe cushion is on par. Vans, please do not discontinue this model. Thanks Lizzie for blessing us with some awesome shoes!
Casual everyday life , shoe! Love my VANS. So, l try to keep them in good ,clean , condition. I enjoy the LIZZIE line because they are very comfortable and they seem to submerge my foot into the new tech design, sole. Seems, a different feeling then the 'Classic' line! But, they are a bit more dresser. Love, the subtle, mature, color!!
These, are the MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE, EVER! more comfy then the "old Skool", style line!!! Think the insole is more contoured foamed to the ,foot. And, not as flatten as 'old skool' ,soles. Feels like a moccasins..very comfortable. Nice and secured around the ankles. But, comfy left casually, untied ... It's still secure on my foot while l'm, walking. The traction is great!!! .. especially, if l can hear the contact of rubber on tile as l walk!!!Think, is line is one of my FAVORITES, NOW ! COMFY!!!👍👍❤️🇨🇦 Simple,clean sophisticated but, sporting...GREAT SHOE!
