I've been wearing Vans since I was a teen in the 90s. Once they stopped making Vans in the US, something changed about the quality and comfort. This shoe brings it all back and I love it! It's really just the little things that are barely noticable, but the quality of the canvas and shoe laces and just the way the shoe is molded that allows for a more comfortable fit. Plus they added the Ultracush footbed, which just elevates it above and beyond. So comfortable to wear for hours at a time. I'm not sure about all day comfort, because it still lacks any strong arch support. This from a person who has suffered from plantars fasciitis from a sports injury for years now. This is the nicest pair of vans you can buy today. It’s exactly like the pair I remember owning back in the early 90s, before they started cheapening the quality. I have 3 pairs of these now. The only thing that could improve it is more support.

Shoe speaks for itself - standard classic Vans Authentic shoe. No frills…but that is what makes it a timeless classic. One major thing I found to be a positive is the color matches the pic here on Huckberry….the red is a darker richer red color as depicted in the pic. I was worried it would be a bright red…not the case. Thank you Huckberry.
I've been wearing old Authentics for years, but this colorway is probably my favorite of all time. Only knock? The heel is stiff and takes some time to soften up, so if you're going sans-socks. Wear socks to break them in, or pack blister pads!
I have been wearing the regular authentic vans basically everyday for the last couple decades. They are my go-to shoes. Recently, I have started noticing my feet getting sore by the end of the day. I've tried some different inserts, but nothing has worked. Mostly because of how they glue the sole to the foot of the shoe. The soles of these ones are completely different from the regular vans and significantly more comfortable. So for $15 more you get American made with better quality and feel. No brainer. I'm buying a few more just in case I can't find them down the road.
I thought the product had the comfy cush, just like as was showed in the ad, but it's just the normalIt's a nice shoe, but that's it, not comfortable.

I've been wearing B&W Authentics for a long time. I love them. But these Anaheim edition are the best I've ever had. Subtle but intricate details that set them apart from the version we all know and love. Better quality and fit and a more comfortable cushioned foot bed. I hope they continue to make them like this.
