I’ve owned several pairs of Vans slip-ons but I always come back to the checkered pattern. Comfortable and cute! That being said, I was reminded with this order that Vans has always had some QC issues. One shoe was significantly wider than the other from this first pair. Fortunately, I was able to go into a store and look through two more pairs to make a good match. The exchange process was super easy if you don’t count the hassle of having to do it in the first place. Besides the width issue, the other pairs had irregularities with the heel heights. I will continue to buy from Vans but be prepared for a possible exchange or two.

I bought a mens size for my teenage boy but they were very wide so I went back to the store without my child and bought him the women's size thinking they would be more narrow and they were!!!!! These fit great and they are unisex, both mens and women's look the exact same but the men are wider and women are narrower. Same price! The nicest thing is they wipe clean so nicely. My teenager has had them for a few months now and they look brand spanking new and I have to think the shoe must be easy to keep clean because if my teenage boy can keep them clean then its possible for anyone hahaha. The shoe is great and famous footwear has the best sales how can you go wrong?

These shoes are everything to me. I love the classic checkered print. I literally have them on as I speak. They are the most comfortable pair of Vans I own. I had my pair for a few years now and they’re still decent enough to wear but they are headed towards looking worn so I ordered another pair. I couldn’t imagine not having these shoes.
