Vaseline has been a staple in skin care for as long as I can remember, and for good reason, it works. From irritated skin that needs instant moisturization to using it as a lip balm, it has healing properties. It's very emollient, so it locks in moisture. It has a very faint, light scent that doesn't bother me because it really is a barely there scent. I also save a lot of money by using it as an eye makeup remover. It does worlds better than an actual eye makeup remover. It doesn't burn my eyes like some micellar waters do, and it gets the job done, even removing stubborn waterproof mascara. That's a plus for me. I trust Vaseline, and I'll continue to purchase.

I got this to be a travel sized version of the normal vasoline, but hadn’t realized that “lip therapy” is a completely different product. It’s a bit stickier than the original. It’s fine for a lip product, but not my favorite. The container is cute, but after it’s been half used, it can be tricky to get your finger into the corners of it to reach the product. I have medium-length nails and it always gets stuck under them. I would love if Vasoline made another product this size with the original instead of just lip therapy. For it being a lip product, I don’t like the application of it, but it definitely works! It is great in the winter time when my lips are extra dry. I found the original, unflavored petroleum jelly products (both Vaseline and Aquaphor) to be unpleasant in odor and flavor, if you accidentally taste it. I tried both flavors-- cocoa butter rose, imo. The rose scent/flavor was too prominent for me. The cocoa butter is pretty neutral. Tips - Apply with a cotton swab to keep the container sanitary (minimizes container bacterial growth). Wipe off of your lips before dressing. Keep another hydrating lip gloss handy for when you can't fuss with this. This also does not replace spf lip care for outdoor/window sunlight exposure (mitigate skin cancer risk, per derm.)

God bless the creators of this product, My entire body would be cracked up and dry if not for this balm. Yes. My ENTIRE body. A little on the heels, a little on the elbows, the knees, anywhere that's dry. It's like magic. Not to mention, a little bit on the wrists and neck where you want perfume to linger? Vaseline is the NUMBER ONE moisturizing balm on the market. 10000x better than Aquaphor. Not to mention that I've had the same dang container since 2012. This stuff lasts FOREVER! I tried doing some off brand vaseline stuff when I was in a different country, but nothing hits as hard as a vaseline slug at night. (I didn't do any research on this, so I don't know if it is harmful to the skin or not. If it is, my bad.)

This is one of those products that your grandma told you about and taught you it’s a cure-all, and even though she used it growing up 50+ years ago, it’s still the same go-to cult classic that it always was and will be when I teach my grandkids the wonders of Vaseline. The only other product that is a cure-all very similar in ways to this is coconut oil, although you can use coconut oil for many more things. And I especially love this mini size- it’s not the tiny tiny one they have but it’s the travel size so you can throw it in your purse (and you should- it comes in handy more than you’d think) but it is big enough to last a long time, but not too long. The large size is too big in my opinion because I feel like it gets kind of crusty and nasty before you can even finish half of it, and personally I don’t want to share this type of product with my family because it doesn’t seem very sanitary to have multiple people putting their hands in it and then applying to lips and face or other areas on body….but sharing with a family is the only reason I can think of for buying the large size, so basically just stick with this mini or “personal” size. Also a great stocking stuffer.

Petroleum Jelly helps where there is discomfort in areas that tend to rub together. That's why so many people reach for it to heal their dry skin." My 7 month old daughter has dry skin. Her doctor recommended applying Vaseline every day. I choose unscented products for her. The value the product brings is amazing. Her skin is no longer dry.

I use the tube kind only, easy and no worries about grimy fingers. Mixing this into other options/creams with an oil is fantastic for cold weather! Makes a huge difference! I used to be very sensitive to this item, and suddenly I've changed. I do think Aveeno creams have fixed my skin barrier along with some stuff i did before, which may be why my skin can handle mineral oil and petroleum jelly now! It has always given me rashes and red burning feeling on skin before this year! From childhood till this year, Vaseline broke me out and now it doesn't... Especially love when I mix it into something else. Good! Versatile! Makes normal products richer and less water loss from skin! It’s don’t have a scent and l really like a packaging ❤️❤️❤️

I have used this for years for my lips to keep them hydrated and smooth. This small mini Vaseline is great to toss in my purse for on the go. I even have tossed it into my travel bags as well. It’s great for taking off make-up as well and leaves the face feeling so nice and soft. It doesn’t have a scent to it so it’s not over-powerful at all. I have recently noticed my feet have been rather dry so I got a bigger Vaseline and use it on my feet after my showers and or if I just soak my feet. Once I put on the Vaseline I will add a pair of socks to kind of keep it there so I’m not getting it all over the floor or into my bed on my sheets. This really works for lots of things. I know everyone has tried the standard Vaseline on their lips, myself included, but I'm not a huge fan. Generally that's a backup, there's no option other than that, type thing but this is altogether different. I thought it would just be scented Vaseline in a tiny container but it feels different on lips, way smoother, applies much better and leaves your lips so incredibly soft.
