This is a great USB-C hub for the price, no questions. I was not able to test the power delivery portion above 65W as I didn't have a charger that could push that at the time I was using this hub, but it deliver power from the charger I had just fine. I wish the cable going from the hub to your device was a little longer, but that is just a personal gripe. Unfortunately after about 1.5 years (still pretty good), the RJ45 port lost the ability to securely hold an ethernet cable. The way it is designed is so that the port opens up a bit so the hub can keep that slim form factor but receive an ethernet cable. All-in-all I still think this is a great product for the price I just wanted potential buyers to know. In some cases if you are just using this as a "light" dock and plug things in and forget about it, this may never be an issue. Cheers!

I see 50-70MB's copy speeds.

This is fantastic little device that can turn a possibly unused USB-C port into a couple of USB-A ports (actually 2x 3.0 another 2.0 port). I had a lone USB-C port on my HP Omen laptop that I rarely have used, but a need for a few more USB-A ports, as it seems that I had more USB devices/peripherals than I thought. It also includes as part of the 9-in-1 format an HDMI, headphone/audio plugin, SD slot, mini-SD/TF slot, a dedicated USB-C PD port (that I believe can also be used for some data transfer - although I haven't used it for that yet, but it makes sense), and a RJ45 Ethernet port. It is truly quite useful in many ways. I would give this quick tip, though, that you will probably need to restart your PC/laptop if you plug it into the USB-C port while already ... MoreThis is fantastic little device that can turn a possibly unused USB-C port into a couple of USB-A ports (actually 2x 3.0 another 2.0 port). It is truly quite useful in many ways. I would give this quick tip, though, that you will probably need to restart your PC/laptop if you plug it into the USB-C port while already booted, especially if you are already using your headphone or microphone port beforehand. It does need to recognize the included audio port and HDMI port (possibly other ports) as different than the factory included ones on your PC/laptop (at least it did on mine). I also will make one other small critique on this item, because at first I was slightly confused from the included picture on the Amazon page. The power USB-C connector (the cord that you plug into your desktop/laptop) does NOT disconnect from the unit - it is attached. So if you need a device or adapter that disconnects from the cord for your mobile travel needs, this is not your selection. It is not a big deal for me, but it does make transport of my laptop a little more involved (adds a minute or two), but it doesn't really impact that much. Other than that, this is a fantastic purchase for any techie with the need - albeit a tad expensive for the function, but well worth it for those that plan on expanding your functionality.

I've had this hub for about a month and it has been excellent. I use it as part of a setup with a laptop, a monitor, and a projector. My projector plugs directly into my laptop, the second monitor runs through the Vava Hub, and I'm on an extended display that smoothly works with all three. I've been extremely happy with how quick and easy it has been to set-up. I didn't have any glitches, and I've been consistently running two or three USB devices simultaneously with the 2nd monitor and it's worked great! No complaints at all for me!Edit: Just as a side note, I've noticed several reviews mentioning the device getting hot. When I first purchased this nearly 3 years ago, It did not work for me the way I really needed it to. I found that I could not charge my Dell Latitude Tablet and use the hub at the same time which was my whole point of needing it. My tablet only has 1 USB port, no ethernet, and a micro HDMI . The problem I was having is the power pass-through did seem to let power through, but the tablet refused to charge and ran slower because of it, thinking I was not using a genuine charger. I thought it was because the hub did not allow the special signal that Dell power adapters use to identify when a genuine adapter is plugged in and being used. I went on thinking this for three years, just using it has a hub for the usb ports and Ethernet port when I needed it on other computers. Well I recently read some forum posts that other people were having the same issues with other adapters and discovered that these hubs require quite a bit of power to function. Realizing this, I came back to this product page and saw they added info about this very same thing saying that the hub itself requires about 11 watts. I checked my dell power adapter to see how much power it put out and it turns out it was only 30 watts. Boy did I have egg on my face. I was only giving the tablet 19 watts to charge with! At the time of purchase, this info was not on the product page so I had no Idea assumed it was like any old hub and used very little power. I figured I would see if this was in fact the issue so after a bit of searching, I ordered 90 watt adapter (a little overkill but wanted to be sure and future proof it) and sure enough, I put everything together and wallah, the tablet was charging, the hub was working, and all is right in the world! I am very glad I did not return this hub or chuck it into a bin. I have not tested the card readers or the HDMI yet, but I am not sure the HDMI at least will work with my tablet. My tablet seems to have a older USB-C port because the gigabit Ethernet port was only getting about 10mbps during a file transfer over the network, so I don't think my tablets port is fast enough to handle the HDMI and everything else. Otherwise I am super happy I stuck with this hub!

Bought this for a Lenovo Duet Chromebook as it has only 1 micro usb charging port and I wanted to hook up a external mouse, wired headphones, and a memory card while still being able to charge the device. This hub is a little more pricey than a lot of the other similar hubs on VAVA but this one seems to be worth if you need a hub to hook up multiple external devices to make your computing a little easier.

Occupying very little desk space and looking clean and modern, this device packs a lot of features and has pretty much everything you would want in a USB hub. It is plug and play with no additional drivers needed (Windows 10 on a Dell Latitude 7490). The Ethernet port runs at a full 1 Gb/s and the audio sounds decent enough for most purposes. The USB-C cable is pretty short which means that the hub needs to sit right by the computer and when there are a bunch of cables and accessories attached to the hub, that's a lot of stuff sitting next to the computer. Luckily, a USB-C extension cable takes care of that. My USB hub developed an intermittent problem after two months of service. VAVA customer care was very responsive. After some email messages to verify a few things, a new hub was on the way and in my hands two days later. The replacement unit has been working great.

I loved the added spring feature for the ethernet port on my new USB hub The first one I had purchased a while ago had an issue with one of the usb 3.0 ports, but the new model has worked perfectly for over a month now and I have full faith it will continue to run strong. I use every single port at once when I have my laptop docked at my work station and I have experienced no issues what so ever ... MoreThis is my second usb hub from VAVA that I am ordering. The first one I ordered was over a year ago, and the new model is far better in quality, and the first one i purchase was great to begin with. I loved the added spring feature for the ethernet port on my new USB hub The first one I had purchased a while ago had an issue with one of the usb 3.0 ports, but the new model has worked perfectly for over a month now and I have full faith it will continue to run strong. I use the old model usb hub for when I travel and it works great still (second picture). The new model is set up to where I can dock my laptop to have more of a desktop setting. I use every single port at once when I have my laptop docked at my work station and I have experienced no issues what so ever (first picture). It does everything I need it to, looks great doing it and I couldn't be happier with this new model of usb hub.

After two years use, no complaints. Provides sufficient power and ports, but runs a little warm. I had my employer get this for my 2017 Macbook Pro based on Ars Technica's review, since that laptop's all USB-C design suddenly made most legacy accessories unusable. I use it for power, network, and charging (see picture).Network throughput seems as good as native wired NICs on the same network. Mac charging is as expected. Note it requires an external power source (like the Mac wall charger), none is included. It runs a little warm, and if you're going to charge much else from the USB-A ports, you may need an upgraded power supply. There are more robust hubs if you don't care about the size. It's small enough to travel with easily, though I'd recommend road warriors ... MoreAfter two years use, no complaints. Provides sufficient power and ports, but runs a little warm. I've had no problems after extended steady use and it has enough ports for my use. Highly Recommended.
