Very simple to use, not heavy at all, really effective.Managed to clean a heavily soiled area in an elderly persons flat. Liquid was a great deodoriser.I have disabilities and use this product easily.One set back is the small liquid capacity but it’s so effective it cancels that outFabulous value, my previous one cost me four times the price.

I wanted a lightweight carpet washer. I have a big heavy one but with 4 dogs and 3 cats my carpets need a regular wash. I didn't expect much from this, it was really inexpensive. It came really quickly, needed minimal easy assembly and was light to carry......so far so good. When I eventually used it I was delighted! Easy to use and cleans equally as well as my much larger expensive bissell. It left the carpet dryer too. Brilliant little cleaner, highly recommend!

Great machine....for only a handful of uses

I bought this in October 22. Its cleaning WAS fantastic. However on the 4th use it stared making a banging noise and a smell of burning. I thought the belt needed changing. Even if the belt breaks there is no way to actually change is as there is a metel tube that you can't remove to put a new one on.But my machines belt was fine, when reading the reviews it turns out others have had the same problem. The motor burns out very quickly.It has been returned but waiting for a refund. So disappointed with it. Being VAX i thought it would be more durable then what it was. The belt and motor are major design faults. Avoid as its not worth the hassle.

Lightweight and compact and easy to use.

Great little machine which I'll use a lot, doing a bit each day. You have to refill the tank quite often to do a big carpet but it's great for freshening up rugs. My house is small with lots of nooks and crannies, so its narrow footprint can get in most places. It doesn't suck as much water out of the carpet as my big old heavy machine but the carpet was dry by the end of the day. It only comes with a very small bottle of Vax liquid, so I bought a big bottle at the same time. Easy to use and I have recommended it to my elderly friend.

Neat and lightweight cleaner

Bought this after my daughters dog left muddy paws on pale carpets and rug. It's very good value and cleaned the carpet perfectly well. It doesn't have any attachments (although I knew this when purchasing) so stairs are a challenge, but it is possible to clean them as it's so lightweight that you can balance the cleaner on each stair tread. It is a bit fiddly to clean out after use but no more than any model would be. All in all a slightly flimsy feel but good value.

Good Points: Once set up, the machine is used like an upright vacuum. excellent for spot stain removal, quick and easy. I was able to clear away puppy accidents and Ideal for smaller homes where storage is limited.Improvement Points: The full machine tank only does half a room. You are unable to use boiling water in the tank. Carpet cleaner quality makes the machine more efficient therefore higher end cleaners are expensive

Very Good Product

Bought to clean the carpets before putting furniture down as we have recently moved. Have used larger Vax models growing up and know they produce decent results.This model works extremely well and I prefer how light it is compared to other models! Easy to use, easy to fill and empty water tanks. Would recommend for anyone keen to keep their carpets dust/ dirt free!Only wish is that it came with additional attachments I can use in other areas like bigger models do.

got this as said lightweight as my old one was getting too heavy and hard to move due to joint problems. It is much lighter and easier to move around. Had been awhile since I have washed living room carpet so was getting quite mucky. Used this washer and carpet has come up lovely. Was delivered next day, easy to put the few bits together and cleaned really well and is easy to empty. Only downside is you only get a small bottle of solution with it so have to buy more.
