It's about as strong as gallium. Both dust bins snapped off at the intake nozzle after a few months- on both machines- within a week of each other. Deep cleaning the filters runs the risk of damaging more plastic in the dust bin. You can't buy replacement parts for them either. No, I have never dropped them if that's what you're wondering. I wouldn't recommend these at their current price tag. If they were a little stronger and had an after-market of replacement parts, then yes.

Great suction on this and picks up pet hair very well from 2 inside dogs. Battery lasts a long time so can get around the whole house with battery left over. This has better suction and battery life over the previous version and the spinning brush can be removed easily for cleaning. The upgrade on the dust bin canister and filtration is super easy to clean and empty. Highly recommend this product.

I love this stick vacum. Battery charge lasts long enough to vacum a 3 level wooden floor house. Very easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. The light at the front is great for darker areas. The part I love is that you don’t need to keep your finger on the on button the whole time when using it. Much easier for old hands. Also it swivels from side to side and goes completely flat for vacuuming under furniture. Light and fun to use. Makes vacuuming a breeze. Has good suction power on carpets and I rarely use my traditional vacuum anymore. Takes about 5 hours to charge. Delivery was same day and I had direct contact with the delivery person.

Very light but powerful vacuum cleaner. Comes with extra attachments which is helpful for a stick vacuum to get all your vacuuming needs done. Battery lasts well between charges but wouldnt be for a large home, probably best suited for apartments or in between vacuums. Only received four stars because emptying the dust holder was easy enough but getting it back together again was a battle and it is too top heavy so it wont stand on its own. But overall it has been a great changeover from my Electrolux ergorapid which I have owned for years and so far have been ver happy
Bought this as the previous VAX stivk vac was faulty. It has good suction but is louder than the vx63 model. Has led lights which illuminates dust and small stuff making it easier to spot them and vacuum. There is no option to turn on and off the rotating brush, therefore we cannot use this on thin carpet/rugs as the fibres get caught in the brush. Compared to the earlier models, the brush can easily removed and cleaned. The charging time seems to be longer- meaning it takes much longer to reach full charge (hour or so more). But still happy with this vacuum and does the job well as its one of the cheapest stick vacs from the well known brands.
The Vax leaves my Dyson for dead. Every single time I used the Vax it far exceeds my expectations for battery length of time and power. It is a pleasure to use, is effortless and emptying the waste is simple and effective. I would give it 10 stars if possible. The Dyson which was just over warranty had never ever had the power or long lasting abilities that the Vax has. Plus it was three times the price! Ordering was easy and delivery through Myer was very fast. Absolutely no complaints, just wish I had purchased it long ago.
Purchased on 10/09/2022. I wanted to replace my v.old 2nd hand vacuum. Researched and found this one to be well priced, great reviews for pet homes. I can't express how disappointed I am just 3 mths on. I've followed instructions re charging, cleaning, etc. I have a 1 bed apartment, tiles in main areas, low pile carpet in bedroom and 1x3m long low pile rug. First few uses were ok, not excellent as per reviews. Now, it does not do its intended job well at all without boost and the boost only lasts around 1 min on full charge. Does not vacuum over tiles well at all - churns and spits out debris - a broom is more effective and reliable. I recommend against this product.
So hard to buy things theses days as you just want to make sure that what you spending on the item is worth it. Well I can let anyone know who is researching and reading this, that this is a great stick vaccum. The Vax Slimvax Pro Pet cordless stick vac has great suction, I have 2 dogs and am a cleaning fanatic so vaccum twice a day gets up all the hair. The battery last for the entire time it takes to vaccum my house and works smoothly on tiles and carpet. Cleaning it is simple also. This vaccum makes a huge difference in my life a big time saver.
As older people we wanted a lightweight vacuum that was easy to use. This one felt good, so we bought it. It cleans our carpet and hard floors very well collecting all the dog hairs and dust. The roller brush didn't get tangled and is easy to remove if it did. The tradeoff for low weight is reduced bin capacity but it is so easy to empty we don't think it is a problem. The first time battery charging seemed to take a while but the charge lasted as long as I needed and more. Bought at Good Guys Gepps Cross with their usual good service.

Not easy to clean the dust and i feel it takes a bit of effort to pull the dirt out as it does get compact around the inside filter unit, so a bit of manual labour is required. I use a small piece of paper, small stick just to pull the dirt out. The rotating brushes do not have an off option, so cannot vacuum around frilly carpet edges or rugs.Takes a bit longer to fully charge than the older models.
