It is a lovely shoe for the summer dress if you want to be walking around with flats and be slightly fashionable and formal but fashion comes at the price of comfort. I've been trying to reduce significantly my belongings and this sneakers is the perfect one to be "the only one" on my closet. It's gorgeous, high quality, fair trade and confortable. It's stiff in the beginning and needs to be broke in. So don't worry if it feels uncomfortable when you first try it on. It runs big. I'm usually a 5 or 5.5 but bought a size 4 and if fits perfectly.

I was so excited to try these shoes. They finally restocked and I ordered them at Anthropologie because they usually have good customer service. Upon arrival I inserted the shoelaces and when going to tie them both shoe laces broke in half. I have been trying to get ahold of customer service and no one has responded for a week to do anything about it. Would not recommend for the money and quality of product.

I loved these sneakers as soon as I saw them! They are comfortable and just what I was looking for, not a spongey walking sneaker. The sizing is wonky. I wear a 7W or 71/2M typically. Size 37 Birkenstock. I ordered the 38 (7-71/2) according to size chart, but my toes hit the sides and they seem short! I loosened the ties and there seems to be enough room but as soon as I walk more than 1/2 day my toes and heel hurt. I am trying the white in 39 and see how that works. Stay tuned.
It's hard to answer the question whether it runs true to size. I think the Veja size chart is a bit off because a EU 35 usually translates to a US5 (Veja size chart says it's a US4) but it fits like a US 5 on me. My feet are actually a US 4 to 4.5 so these are about a 1/2 to 1 size too big for me which I was expecting. I will be putting a cushioning insole in them to make them smaller (as that's what I always have to do) and more comfy. They are stiff and not flexible right out of the box , like they don't conform or mold to your feet. ie. no shape to them. The insole isn't cushiony but they're not uncomfortable. I wore them around the house for a day to break them in. I'm sure once the leather softens it'll mold to my feet better. Altitude sports is great for carrying inclusive sizes. I hope that'll never change. Most stores like REI or Sporting Life start at a size 6.
I bought these for work as i have a few pairs of vejas so knew they would be comfy. I needed something that looked smart but fashionable and would go with white as well as cream outfits. The soles bring together lots of outfits and mean they stay clean which is a massive bonus when you want a smart look. Super comfy too! Great buy!
Really wanted these to work. They are cute and the leather is nice quality. The inner sole has little to no cushion and the outer sole is stiff making me walk flat footed- making a slapping sound with each step. I couldn’t be convinced that the shoes would become more flexible and comfortable over time.Therefore I had to return.
We ordered usual size - fit was spot-on. I have looked at this for a while - finally pulled trigger and ordered. Way cuter in person/on than I imagined. Like - SUPER CUTE. However -- was very disappointed that laces broke after wearing only 2-3 times (another reviewer had same issue?!). Replacement laces are available on Veja website (free ship) but no clear guidance on length to choose -- and no guarantee these won't break. Jury still out on whether or not these are worth the $$...
To all who have a passion to have this sneaker as I do, here's a review on the sizing. I am about to purchase my second pair of Veja Campo chromefree ultra white leather sneaker. Be aware of the sizing issues. I am a true size 8.5 for casual sneaker, not athletic such as running sneaker. I take a whole size up,9.5 in a running sneaker. Anthropology sells size 8.5. I have only seen whole sizes This might fit me but the size 9 fits pretty well, these run small, fit is not a 9.5, closer to 8.5.
These shows are so nice looking and so versatile. I can tell they're well made and I love how simple they look, yet really nice and stylish. They're not bulky or heavy.They're pretty comfortable - not the most comfy I've ever worn, but they do a pretty good job. I wish there was a hair more arch support.I would say they run TTS but maybe a tiny bit big/wide.I am submitting this review as part of participation in an incentive program.
