The Esplar sneakers from Veja are crafted from white leather and feature a lace-up design. A black logo is printed on the tongue, complemented by organic cotton laces. The inner lining is constructed from recycled mesh, designed for enhanced friction resistance. The insole, made from organic and recycled materials, incorporates sugar cane, Amazon rubber, organic cotton, and recycled EVA foam. These sneakers are set on a cream rubber sole composed of organic and recycled materials. Named in tribute to ESPLAR (Rural Planning and Consulting Association), a Brazilian NGO Veja has collaborated with since 2005, which supports organic and family farming in the Nordeste region.
