Looove these! It took a couple of tries to find the right Vejas for me size-wise and style wise but these are worth the wait. They’re not intended to be athletic obviously but I don’t find them uncomfortable at all. The tongue is a little higher than others but not a bother.

I have been pining over these for awhile, not sure if these would be worth it or not. Well... they are SO. WORTH. IT. They are not only beautiful to look at, they are flattering on your foot, construction is excellent, and they are an eco-conscious style. I did not have any fit issues. If anything, Im kicking myself for not trying them on sooner. For the detail obsessed like me, I was concerned with the yellow-tinged sole that shows on the photo. In real life, it is not that way at all (I was worried about that, tbh). It is grey/neutral rather than yellow, just a shade darker than the white upper. It does not look like a low quality, yellowing rubber, thankfully. Overall this is a classy, quality shoe, and it shows. I bought these about 2-3 months ago and can confidently say they are the best sneakers I have ever owned. The leather is great quality and they look nowhere near as worn as my Adidas Stan Smith's did after 2-3 months. They're also super easy to clean and maintain their shape very well! I've read some other reviews here that state the leather is stiff and uncomfortable and the laces are hard to tie - you have to break them in! I wore thicker socks for about a week while walking the dog nightly and following this, the leather (including the tongue) became very comfortable, moulded to my foot and the laces a lot easier to lace. Would 110% recommend if you have the patience to break them in!

Got these for my husband and he loooved them! He oscillates between a US 9.5-10, but we went for the 9 as per the reviews and they fit just right. Also, I’d say that his feet are more on the wide side, so he hates when those narrower shoes expand on the sides to mold to the shape of his feet. Well, let me tell you that even though these look narrow, they don’t do that at all! A big win.
I bought this product 2 weeks ago. This was my first pair of 'Veja' brand shoes/sneakers that I purchased. Great product (comfortable as fish in a water and stylish as model on red carpet)!!! As I try to be eco-friendly on my daily activities and try to contribute to saving environment as much as possible, this seemed to be only an additional item to have. I think I made the right choice by getting these shoes in order to further reduce my personal footprint even more, as the entire sneaker is made out of recycled and environment friendly materials.
I really like the way these shoes look. They are super clean and simple. However the tongue of the shoe is extremely tough/rough and it just cuts into my ankles. First day I wore them with low cut socks and that was one of the most painful days at work. The second time I wore longer socks, but it was still very uncomfortable and painful. I also bought a pair of the V-10s which I love, and those don't have the issue. I'm not sure if the leather is just softer in the V-10s, but they are way more comfortable.
I don’t normally write reviews but having never paid this much for a pair of shoes before I read all the reviews and was so worried I may have made an expensive mistake. I am a size 6 and bought a size 6 and it’s a perfect fit. No rubbing, wore them in the house for an hour first day, then for a 45 minute walk. So comfortable. I have bunions so sometimes need a wide fit sandal or other shoe but no problem in these.
The Best veja style! I have few other veja shoes and this one, hands down is my favorite. I love them so much that I am considering buying another pair. usually veja shoes take a month or so wearing to soften up and get comfortable, but this one...they were comfortable from the first day I wore them. Best plain white sneakers for versatile use. dressing them up or down, they got it! Highly recommend!
This is one of these purchases made ENTIRELY for aesthetics. Veja is a super high style shoe that stands out from the typical Nike/Adidas/etc etc. They really do look cool and different! Thats where the positives mostly end though. These shoes are cheaply made out of subpar materials. The materials and construction feel like a $20 shoe from walmart! This would not be such a negative if they didnt cost $120. In this price range I expect higher quality. Saying all of that, Veja seems like a good company that strives for sustainability and fair trade practices, something the big sneaker makers care little about. Overall, these shoes look awesome, comfort is mediocre, and quality is minimal. I do enjoy wearing them knowing that they wont last long. I first noticed the Esplar as I was looking for a new pair of white leather a sneaker and wasn’t familiar with Veja. Spent some time researching them and really appreciated the efforts they are making for being more sustainable and mindful. I read some reviews of uncomfortableness with the tongue but haven’t found that issue. The leather is very stiff and does take some wears to form, but it is worth it. I like the structure and the look and have really enjoyed adding them to my closet. I got an 11 as that’s my size in most everything (except 11.5 in Nikes). The width is a pretty standard D.
