I bought these about 2-3 months ago and can confidently say they are the best sneakers I have ever owned. The leather is great quality and they look nowhere near as worn as my Adidas Stan Smith's did after 2-3 months. They're also super easy to clean and maintain their shape very well! I've read some other reviews here that state the leather is stiff and uncomfortable and the laces are hard to tie - you have to break them in! I wore thicker socks for about a week while walking the dog nightly and following this, the leather (including the tongue) became very comfortable, moulded to my foot and the laces a lot easier to lace. Would 110% recommend if you have the patience to break them in!

I struggled between the Esplar and Campo sneaker. I first ordered the Campo but returned them as it looked too wide and kind of boxy looking on my foot so I tried Esplar and it fit much better and was more the look I was going for - something I could wear for everyday look for shorts, jeans, skirts etc it’s a narrow look that I like vs the wide look of the Campo. Definitely size down if you’re in between sizes (for both styles as they both run big). I wear 8.5 normally and am a size 39 in this shoe.

I really took my time reading other reviews about these sneakers since I had been wanting them for many months now. Finally got them and I absolutely love them. They are really comfortable! I don’t find them stiff. The tongue also isn’t an issue. I do recommend to size down. I am normally a US9 and I bought US8 and still have a little room but it is perfect. Thinking if buying in other colors.

When I ordered the white/black combo, there were 2 left in the company. Now they are sold out, so I’m happy I chose the right size. They run big! I am normally a US 7, and after reading the reviews, I ordered the womens 6, which is a men’s 4. They fit perfectly, and I have enough room with a little sock on. They are really stiff when you get them, but break in quickly. The tongue was digging in the front of my leg! I actually thought about returning them but decided to try to break them in and I’m happy I did! I read to push the tongue over to the side until you break them in and that worked like a charm. After 3-4 wears they were broken in and I don’t have to do that anymore! They are now super-comfortable. They can be dressed up or down. Laces are whiter than the ... Laces are whiter than the shoe which is like an eggshell color but it doesn’t bother me. I bought them for occasional wear-more like a fashion shoe-but have been wearing them ALL THE TIME! You can keep the sides clean with a sponge with dish soap or wipe them with a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I definitely want another pair!!
I wanted to love these! I'd heard good things and they look great on the foot. But oh boy, were they uncomfortable. No support or cushioning whatsoever. If I'm going to wear a sneaker I expect it to be comfy. Also, they're not TTS as the page states. I'd say at least half a size too big, as some of the other reviewers have noted. Again they look great but for the price I expected a much more comfortable shoe. I'll stick with Adidas.
I was looking for a cute white sneaker to wear with many kinds of outfits, particularly to make a dress casual for spring/summer. I ordered so many different white sneakers to try. I tried Common Projects, but for the price, I was too afraid to go out in them! (Also, they were too large on). I tried Stan Smiths (VERY uncomfortable), and even Sezane's Barry sneakers (strange fit). I finally decided to try these and wow!--they are so cute, comfortable, the leather is easy to clean, and they can look both on the dressier side (for sneakers) and also make a summery dress cool and casual. I have read complaints that the tongue is very stiff, but I found it very easily slips to the side and it is not uncomfortable while walking. I usually am a size 8 in shoes, and I took ... I usually am a size 8 in shoes, and I took a leap of faith and ordered the 38 which says it is US Womens 7. I do not find that to be a true conversion--I think they are more like 8s. Also they did stretch a bit after wearing, and I think they are a perfect fit. I am wearing them with thin socks or no socks at all, so keep this in mind when you are choosing your size. I have worn them to work and walked more than two miles at once in them--definitely my new go-to!
I've been seeing the veja sneakers floating around on the internet for a long while. I decided to take the jump after doing some research and thinking these would be a great fit for me, and they are really great. I have had them for a few months and theyre very comfortable for half day not full days of wear yet, I haven't probably fully broken them in yet though. Easy to clean too.
Love at 1st sight, I have just about every white sneaker there is, casual to high end, sneakers not gym shoes. These look the best overall, no match to me. My issue, as others have mentioned, the tongue. My daughter has had 2 pair, told me if it doesn’t get broken in get shoemaker, not just a shoe repair. Tried breaking them in to no avail. Finally decided to take them to a shoemaker, family business 3rd generation, all the high end shoe stores on Rodeo, Neimans use him. Even with the costly adjustment plus soft insert, thick sock, I just could not wear them. Another pair of shoes sitting in their box
I read plenty reviews on these sneakers that made me hesitant to purchase them but I wanted to give them a try! I’m a true 7.5 so I was a little confused on what size to order. I went to the Veja’s website that has measurements and that was helpful. I ended up ordering a size 7 and they worked out great. There was even some room. I don’t find these to be uncomfortable at all but they are a little stiff and hard to lace (I watched a YouTube video). I imagine with time time they will be easier to put on. I also don’t have any issues with the tongue but I did move it slightly to the side until it’s broken in. I think they are cute white sneakers that go with anything. If you’re hesitant I would do some research first for sizing and give them a try.
First, the lack of half-sizes really stinks. Unlike other reviews, I do find them true to size. I’m an 8.5, and the 8 was too small while the 9 was too big. I ordered the Esplar and the Campo and found the sizing is the same in both styles. Esplar is more narrow, Campo is wider (slightly too wide for me). Esplar is smooth leather while Campo is textured. I liked the width of Esplar better but the texture of Campo. Beyond the sizing, the shoes just aren’t cut well. The tongue on Campo is way too long, and it leaves a red mark after only a few minutes of wear. By contrast, the tongue on Esplar is shorter like a normal shoe, but the ankle area is too narrowly cut. The raises to quickly and rubs the front bottom edge of the outside ankle. It’s a shame that both styles ... MoreFirst, the lack of half-sizes really stinks. Unlike other reviews, I do find them true to size. I’m an 8.5, and the 8 was too small while the 9 was too big. It’s a shame that both styles fall short. If the tongue on campo wasn’t so absurdly long, I’d have probably kept those. As it is, they’re all going back.
