The Fitz Roy is a tribute to the mountain range of the same name. Hikers from all over the world dream of climbing this famous Patagonian peak on the border between Argentina and Chile. Referred to as the "smoking mountain" by the Tehuelche Indians, two French climbers made the first ascent in 1952.
