I really want to love these shoes. Cuz they look clean smart and versatile. But there are very painful to wear for long walks. The leather bends and digs into toes ouch. Will only wear them for local dinner nights or boring work days. Definitely not for any trips. Not for malls. Not even for errands. Uh uh.

Alternative Court Sneakers

I was looking for an alternative court sneaker that was comfortable, reasonably priced and great quality. I ordered these just to try, not expecting to like them, but these were shockingly comfortable right out of the box. They are not comfortable in the sense that they have a lot of padding like you would find in a nike sneaker. The insole feel is more firm and the leather is a little more rigid, like you would find in a high quality leather shoe. They did not have a tight or glove like fit that I often find in a shoe like this, but there were a few pressure points in the shoe that were only noticeable when walking. Incorrectly listed as a leather sneaker

I love Veja sneakers but Nordstrom incorrectly lists this as a leather sneaker. It arrived today and is a plastic coated cotton, faux leather alternative. Very disappointing that Nordstrom's website was so inaccurate, I ordered this sneaker ahead of a vacation and then had to drive across town and back to return it and a new pair will not arrive in time before my trip. Next time I will just order from Veja directly to know what I'm buying for certain at the time of purchase.

From my experience, these shoes are totally fine if you're just walking around for a couple hours, or on and off for a full day. I heard the V-10 runs big, so I purchased a 37 and 38. Though I fit the 37, it was squished in the toes so I kept the 38. For reference, I also wear a 38 for the Birkenstock Mayari sandal. As I mentioned before, I didn't find these to be very comfortable for consistent walking for more than about 4-5 hours. I did place some Superfeet insoles in them and that really helped - keep in mind, though, that the Veja insole isn't removable - so I did have some wiggle room in the shoes. I'd say the V-10 does run 1/2-1 size big if your feet are narrow.I purchased these back in June, and so far the quality is great. The laces were a bit stiff at first but if anything that works better, as they'll hold up for awhile. Overall, I'd recommend these sneakers if you're in love with the look !

NORDSTROM IS UNBELIEVABLE.

My 3rd time ordering this shoes, and my third time returning it. 1st, i ordered the wrong size and i wasn’t allowed to cancel my order even it was just 3minutes after i ordered. 2nd, ordered the right size but it was not true to sizing. And 3rd, finally ordered the “right” size (via pick up to the store) but they gave a pair of shoes that were used and looked like samples. the shoes’ soles were dirty so had to returned it again. Like how can this be possible for a big store like nordstrom??

Nice looking, average V10

Wanted to give it 3 1/2 star not 4. I’m picky. They are medium width and average comfort. I would prefer more insole support and arch, but these are still good for everyday wear. They go with everything. The flap is a little plastic and slightly scratches my leg once or twice which makes me wonder about the quality of the leather.

Poor quality, not worth the premium price

The V-10s in the black and white combo are the second pair of Vejas I purchased. The first pair was the Campos which were fantastic quality and I was super happy to pay the premium price for the premium materials and craftsmanship. However I was immediately let down when I received these. As you can see in the picture, there is an area in the top of the shoe that is missing stitching. The materials themselves also didn't feel as nice as the Campos. In terms of sizing, I'm a true EU 39/US 8.5 to 9 for most shoes but I had to size up to the EU 40 for these. I say go by your US size and not the EU size, and that'll be true to the size. Otherwise EU sizing fits small and will have to size up. The V-10 laces are byfar the longest and I need to double knot it in order to prevent it from flopping around too much.

Uncomfortable

I wanted these so badly because I thought Air Force ones were so basic and trashy I like to be a little classy and unique with my wardrobe while still hitting all the trends. These shoes are cute but they’re VERY VERY STIFF and HAVE no cushioning or arch support. They’re comfortable enough but not good for the insane price. If they were like $50-60 I’d give 5 stars. The laces are stiff and annoying to pull thru the holes. No half sizes is so annoying too. I’m a woman’s 8-8.5 and these fit length wise but they are narrow for me. My feet are the slightest bit wide and they are very uncomfortable around the width of my foot. Really sucks. Even just sitting with my feet up I feel the tightness around my foot width. So narrow. Best for skinny feet people. Veja Black/White

I'm not the one who write reviews but I feel like I just have to for this particular shoes. Before purchasing the black/white Veja, I seriously went on a thorough research because I really love the style and I prefer shoes that will go with many outfits! BUT if it was uncomfortable (per other reviews) then it wouldn't be worth paying much for it. After months of research (right size, narrow vs wide, comfort of the tongue etc), I finally decided to pull the trigger. I'm usually a true size 38 (Eu), which is size 7 in the US but after reading and listening to reviews from different sites (youtube, zappos, amazon , pinterest) that this run big, i decided to go with 37, which is only half size smaller. hope they break in

I have been wanting a pair of Vejas for quite a while, and decided to pull the trigger. Ordered my usual size 10. They came quickly which was super awesome. When I broke them out of the box they were exactly what I wanted. I will say they were extremely difficult to lace. Once I put them on my feet I was a bit bummed with how tight they were. They don't appear to be narrow, and I don't have wide feet. After a few minutes of sitting with the shoes on my toes start to fall asleep. Which isn't what you want when you pay $170 for a pair of white leather casual shoes. I'm keeping them because they are 100% leather, and they will break in (hopefully) eventually. I'm just going to be in pain until that happens. ugh.
