Recommended by Anna Bey.They fit perfect! Slightly large but provide extra comfort.Didn’t take long to break them in.I only wear them with bomba socks! The two just work well together for me.I wear them ALL the time I go out, super comfy.These are my nice casual shoes for shopping, casual restaurant, traveling, or work!I’ve seen a lot of fashionable women wear these in NY too so I had to try them, and so glad I did. Now thinking of buying a second pair.

Looks just like the pictures!

I'm a consistent 8.5, but I got a size 8 with room to spare. They're a bit stiff in the tongue at first and you can expect some wrinkling in the leather, but after a few months they've formed to my feet. I love the style, ease to wipe off dirt and the insoles for my higher arch. However, I'm surprised to find they make my feet feel sweaty even with merino wool socks in cooler temperature.

My first Veja

I heard about Veja and purchased for my son and daughter-in-law but never for myself. Then I have decided to get one and my first Veja. I have a lot of sneakers and some are made of leather, too. No regret, of getting it, just fit right, I have ordered the 39, looks like a good quality and will soon break in. Purchased this for use on a cruise!

Strange sizing and fit

I read a lot of reviews regarding these shoes but wanted to give it a try as a birthday gift to my husband (He likes orange color, and these looked so good in the pumpkin color in photos!). He wears 9.5 all across the board, almost no exception. For this Veja V-12, I had to choose 43, as the 42.5 (for US 9.5) wasn't an option. However the shoes were too long. They also felt heavy. And like a few other reviews (on other websites) said, the tongue is ridiculously long and it cuts into the ankle area. My husband said they also felt strange at the sole - too low in the heel area and uneven. Overall we were disappointed. If the shoes fit, I think they can still look cute. (They look a bit vintage-ish, more than on the photos.)

Stylish and durable.

I really like the look and style of these shoes—they're clean, classic, and go with so many outfits. The quality feels solid, but I found them a little stiff when I first wore them. I’m hoping they soften up with more wear, but overall, they’re a great pair of shoes if you’re looking for something stylish and durable.

The sneaks I was looking for

I've been looking for a nice pair of low-key sneakers for everyday errands and/or for traveling. These are precisely the style I was looking for. Unfortunately, they do run big and, so, I had to return this pair (size 8, my preferred, plain color scheme). However, I'm keeping the size 7s in a fun color scheme (orange V against white shoe). I'm typically a size 7.5 for reference. The shoes are stiff but I'm hoping they'll soften up as other reviewers have noted. It was only after I ordered these that I realized the brand is currently popular with celebs. This doesn't really matter to me, but it affirms the style/quality I suppose. Looking forward to sporting them in Vegas for the holidays!

V 12 leather shoes -EXCELLENT

Excellent product, Excellent Quality! Fit is great( I usually take a 6.5 and in Veja, I find I am a 6), they run a little large so go down a size if you are in between sizes would be my suggestion.Very classic extra white shoe, and really comfortable . I highly recommend the Veja leather sneaker . I wear these with jeans , casual pants and they just give a little classic touch to your outfit!

Worth the break-in time and troubleshooting

The V-12 has a fabric-backed tongue, which is still hard and on the thin side - and about an inch too long - but it is a little less rigid than the V-10.Both styles fit similarly, so I ended up choosing based on my favorite aesthetic. Fix: I tried the “pull the tongue to the side” trick, but within 10 steps, the tongues kept working themselves back to the top. Fix: I ended up just folding my tongues under and tucking the last inch or so under the laces. This works perfectly for me....and I actually like the look better without the long tongue sticking out.Break-in time for me was two full days of wear...walking 5-6 miles each day. On day three, these were super comfy.These shoes are so stinking cute, and with the break-in and minor fixes, they are now comfortable enough for me that I can walk miles and miles without complaint. Definitely worth the trouble.
