I bought the black on white Recife. I think it's beautiful and well made. I usually wear size 6, and this fits me well. I would love to keep it, however, I find the leather too stiff for my comfort. I don't want to take the chance of having blisters and unnecessary callus. I still give it a 4 star because of how beautiful it looks.

I bought these sneakers for walking around Disney. I wore them every day for 5 days and walked 9+ miles per day. They were very comfortable and suited their purpose. I love the rose gold accents. It makes them look a little fancier than your average sneaker. Then only downside is the length of the velcro straps. when closed they only cover half the velcro. It looks funny and gets caught on the pant legs of my jeans. For this reason I would not recommend. I am going to try a similar style with laces.

I hate tying shoelaces and when I saw these, I was sold immediately. I have another pair of lace Veja’s which are comfortable and was confident these would be too, and, they are!! I have a normal foot width and at first the velcro didn’t fully fold over to cover the base of the velcro but after a few wears they did. I get a lot of compliments on this style. Love that they are easy to put on, snap, and go. Oh and the best part is you don’t have to worry about washing laces and re-lacing!
This is my second pair of VEJA’s and I love these. The Velcro is so easy on and off and they are so comfy. The Velcro for me is not short and I have a slightly larger top foot. They do fit a tiny bit larger. I wear a 9 and bought 9 but I knew this from my other pair but I wear thicker no show socks. This style sells out quickly so I was happy to get these
I really love the colour and style of this sneaker. The Velcro makes it a bit sleeker than tie up sneakers. I wanted to love this sneaker but unfortunately the leather is not at all soft and rubbed against my bunion. I needed the size up which is sold out.Hence I returned and got a refund.If you have a wide foot, size up or avoid this sneaker. Looks great but not super comfortable.
The design of these trainers was so disappointing that I returned them. The stiff tongue is an issue, particularly as it’s too long, so just cuts into your ankle. I loved the idea of the Velcro straps, but they were too short, so just exposed a lot of velcro which would get dirty over time. I wish Veja would just sort out their design issues because I’d love a styl it sh ethical trainer, but I’m just not willing to compromise on comfort.
Great sneaker for dresses, shorts, jeans everything. I am a true size 9 which in most international is a 39 but the size chart for the show said 40 so that's what I ordered. Fits perfectly. Always check the size chart by shoe.
I've owned two pairs of the old Veja tri-lock Velcro shoes. They are my favorites. Looks like this is the replacement and I'm really sad about it. The grommet that the strap goes through was metal in the previous design and now it's just sewn with white thread...it looks really cheap. Also, the Velcro straps only stretch across half my foot! These look ridiculous and sadly will have to be returned. Now I'll have to hope I can find the old version somewhere out there
I want to love these. love the look, the comfort, but I wore them 2x, and the second time the rubber at the front/toe part ripped! for $185, I would have these sneakers would have lasted at least a couple years. Bummed because I bought these for an upcoming trip and now I’m back to square one.
