I was so torn between the campo vs. The esplar and when I saw them in person, the decision was obvious. Lined up beside each other, The campo looks like a warmer white color with some texture to it rather than cool white that is super smooth. It just feels/looks better quality overall and they shape is preferable for me at least. The only issue is that the sizing is sliiiiightly off with them not having half sizes. I sized down from my half size and that was better than going up but it’s still just ever so slightly too small anf im hoping it will stretch out that little bit.Overall these are classic beautiful shoes and comfortable right away, I haven’t had any issues with the tongue or heel as some people mentioned in reviews that I previously read.I would order ... MoreI was so torn between the campo vs. The esplar and when I saw them in person, the decision was obvious. Return process was super straightforward and worth it.

I’ve had my eye on these for a while. I have plenty of sneakers but I wanted a stylish pair that was comfortable. I ordered both these and the natural ones. I didn’t know what size I would need so I got 35 in Natural (they didn’t have a 36) and the pink in 36. Honestly, I loved them both but the natural ones called to me. But the 35 was just a bit tight, so I kept the pink ones in the 36. I am a size 6 in most shoes and sometimes a 5.5. I really do like the pink ones but I am STILL thinking about the natural. I haven’t worn them longer than a few hours, but I’m finding them to be comfortable out of the box. I saw comments about the tongue being uncomfortable but I haven’t had that problem at all. It is annoying they do not arrive laced up. I feel like it always ... MoreI’ve had my eye on these for a while. I have plenty of sneakers but I wanted a stylish pair that was comfortable. I wanted really the white/matcha combo, the color is ok but I can’t get past the wide toebox. Yes it accomodated my toes but way too wide for my liking and style. This looked cute on the side but the wide shape is not good. I didnt had time to return so I am stucked with it. Also no support at all in arches whatsoever and nothing special on footbed. In fairness, I walked on this for a whole day errand and it did not hurt my feet thus my 4 star rating. Also for the price point it’s too expensive for me considering I am not truly happy with the fit.

I bought a pair of Veja’s about 14 years ago and have had them repaired twice because I couldn’t find anything that felt as good. They were finally beyond the point of repair and I ordered these and amazingly they were the perfect replacement. My husband ordered himself a pair as well we were so impressed. The only thing I am curious to see is how the lining does. I really like the old ones were cotton canvas inside and they held up really well over the years. I’m not so sure about the synthetic interior.
Purchased the white campo, fit great. The tongue is not hard for me, as what has been described in other reviews. I have left the top holes open for the laces as suggested but do not need to ove the tongue to the side. Maybe they improved it, it’s soft to me and doesn’t bother my ankles. They are a great casual shoe. The foot bed is a bit flat, so if you need. Arch support or fusion consider an insert. I don’t think I’d use them as a walking shoe or for exercising, hiking or long periods on my feet. But I definitely have worn them many times going out for casual outings, received many compliments. I am looking at the black and white version.
Love the Veja Campo! I have them in white with black and just purchased these in white with neutral beige. I usually wear a size 6.5-7 shoe and the 37(6) worked best for me in the Veja campo. 38 was too big and although 37 felt a tad small they are fine once I wore them a few times. Unfortunately they don't come in 1/2 sizes because a 37.5 would be perfect. I wouldn't consider them the most cushioned comfy sneakers but they look great and are comfy enough to wear all day. I researched all the styles and really like the Campo the best. I love the pebbled leather and thicker sole. I definitely recommend!
I had been searching for over 2 years for a white leather sneaker that would fit my wide feet, and couldn't find anything that worked. Then I read an online review that stated that the Veja Campo was made for a wider foot. I saw that Altitude carried this model, but it was sold out in the women's sizing. Knowing that these are made to be a unisex shoe, I looked in the men's section online, and there was one left in my size. I'm typically a size 9.5 foot, so I ordered size 41 (10) and they fit perfectly. There's no "breaking in" to fit my wide feet. They fit right out of the box. The price is more than I wanted to spend, but I've learned that wearing shoes that are too short or too narrow can cause long-term damage to your foot. If you want to keep your feet healthy and in great shape, and if you can afford them, its best to buy shoes that fit.I really like the classic look of this sneaker -- I don't have to worry about it going out of style in the next few years (I take care of my stuff and I want it to last). It is so easy to pair with casual and even dressier outfits and the white lends a sporty flair.
I have been looking for a stylish, versatile, low profile white sneaker for awhile now to replace a worn pair I have. Given the price I did my research and read many reviews - my biggest concern going in was that several noted they are a bit stiff at first but break in quickly and my feet are on the wide side. My friend has this exact sneaker and raved about them, so I finally gave in and purchased them as a birthday gift to myself. I’m not a big fan of ‘breaking in’ shoes, but thought these just might be worth it. Sadly they are not. They are cute on and go with so much, but after wearing them for several months now I have noticed my feet (arches) and back hurting if I walk any appreciable distance in them. I’m afraid I am going to have to relegate these to the times I want a casual look, but am going by car and with not much walking involved. Too much money for the wear I will get out of them IMO.
So, I had read numerous reviews of these shoes before giving them a try. I wanted these to work so badly (and they did !!) because I just love the look of these. And, I honestly didn't know what to expect because of so many mixed reviews from different websites. I was expecting the fit and feel to be stiff. I own several pairs of Golden Goose, so I was expecting the fit to be something like that. But, these are actually way softer and more comfortable than all of my Golden Goose shoes. I love these Vejas and I am so happy I decided to give them a try. I honestly would get these in more colors. The sizing seems to be pretty spot on. I got the 37, I usually wear between a US 7 and 7.5. Very very happy with my purchase!
I love this shoe. I now have three pairs and just ordered the extra white. The Esplar is perfect for me. I have small feet, about a 6 so I ordered a 37. I wear mine almost everyday. I have developed some issues with my feet and with a knee and these look great with nearly everything and are comfortable. I haven’t really had issues with the tongue, but I do feel that they require a period of breaking in. As I have a bit of a bunion I find the Esplar to be the more comfortable between this style and the Campo. The Campo has a higher wall of rubber and it is not as flexible nor does it stretch because of the higher rubber wall. The Esplar has a lower rubber wall and the leather stretches to expand at the point where my bunion is. I wear these sneakers with skirts and ... MoreI love this shoe.
