I did everything right. I peeled and stuck it to both sides of the sheets I had sewn together to make a duvet cover and didn’t even pull the Velcro apart again for weeks. Today I went to wash it for the first time. I made sure both sides of Velcro were stuck back together so they wouldn’t get messed up in the wash or stuck to anything or just get more wear and tear than necessary. I washed on cold and when my washer was done I found all my Velcro not stuck to the duvet cover any longer. All the pieces were loose in the washer and most were stuck to each other. What a waste. I’m going to buy sew on Velcro like I thought I had but bought this garbage by mistake. Thought I would give it a shot because of how the packaging hypes it up but nope it’s junk. Bought this to use on a formal dress, to attach an insert I made to the top of the dress. The velcro didn't hold at all, and it came off!! Waste of money!!

I wanted velcro strips that I could cut to size needed and this is exactly what I wanted. I wanted to make doll "diapers" for my 2 year old grand daughter that loves to change her baby (non wetting kind) In no time at all I had a few new, pretty prints and plain diapers that she can very easy put off and take off. Very happy with this purchase
For the most part holds well, but a hard pull can loosen. Doesn't stick well on slick, smooth fabrics.
I don't use this for clothing, rather I use it "hem" black out curtains. To explain, during the summer months, in addition to the central air, I use a window unit in my bedroom as it receives the evening sun is much warmer than the remainder of the house. To aid with the reduction of heat, I like the panels extended to the floor during the day, but at night them shorter so as not to block the air flow from the window unit. This product offers me the ability to do that.
This works for securing window covering on my sailboat for privacy purposes. I can easily put up or remove window covers

I bought the Velcro that sticks on fabric. I had to make “breakaway” shirts for my husband for his rotator cuff surgery. I cut the sleeves through the shoulder and into the neck and applied the Velcro. It worked well and made dressing so much easier for him the week after surgery!
Used this to attach extra fabric to the back of curtains. Easy to use, very strong, sticks well to the fabrics.
