We had Natural Home Lite come and install the Velux C08 skylights in our living room. They dramatically changed the look and feel of the room and the surrounding rooms! I love all of the light pouring in now, even on cloudy days. Our room was dark and felt dreary, even on somewhat sunny days, and only had sun coming in the mornings. The skylights now allow light in all day - a dramatic improvement. The installers were very knowledgeable and listened to our needs. They were very professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. We were very impressed with their work! Wish we had done this years ago!

My son lives atA townhouse and the skylights were old& leaking. I ordered two of these skylights and the flashing kit also. I had a man that does roofing work on the side install it The skylights were heavy because these were big ones 46 x 46, but three guys gotThem upThe ladder. I am so glad that I did it as a DIY and not have to go thru a roofing company and pay a ton. It looks great, 100% improvement. We had a recent rain and no leaks. Very happy!

Our home was built in 1977 with an original 48x48 Velux domed skylight installed. The roof had been replaced a couple times over the years but the original skylight was retained as there was never a leak or other problem. But in 2021 we got a new roof and decided to replace it with a flat glass version simply to update the roofline. We love the new look, and have had no issue whatsoever. HIGHLY recommend Velux quality products!

Had local roofing company replace the skylight in my bathroom and now my bathroom is green! I was told that the green tinted glass is standard and that I would have to either order a whole new skylight or have a glass company make new glass for it. I don’t think this is right. I cannot imagine the advertising photos I’ve seen on the Velux website with these beautiful white rooms and a green tinted glass. My bathroom is now this weird green color. No help from Velux representative. I just want normal colors back in my bathroom.
Our Velux replacement fixed skylight was installed with our new roof in December in our bathroom. ( Previous owners had a skylight installed at some point and it was cloudy with age and in need of replacement. Also, there is no space for a window in this twin home.) I love the sunlight that floods our bathroom every day and also lights up a dark hallway and stairwell!! I don't need to turn on the light when I am home during the day as I am retired. I also enjoy seeing the moon and stars at night thru the crystal clear glass in the skylight. Our roof installer wishes he had one in his home too as he lives in an identical twin house!! I would recommend a skylight to anyone who has a dark stairwell or room without a window. You just can't beat the natural sunlight!!
Three new skylights were installed by a Velux preferred installer and generally happy with the installation and the product. The skylights arrived with adhesives or glues all over the glass and is proving to be harder to remove than just window cleaner. We're also told not to use anything like a razor blade to scrape the adhesive materials.The skylights seems to be fine - as long as you don't look at them from certain angles so that you see the streaking or the adhesives. Knocking off one star for condition and difficulty cleaning them.
Highly recommend. We bought 3 for our home in Scottsdale. Our roofers highly recommended VELUX brand skylights and they ordered 2 new to replace our existing when they completed a re-roof. We were so happy with the quality and u-value that we ordered a 3rd. Order was quick, on-line details were accurate and the fit and finish was perfect. Great value for price. Solar Town has their act together. Couldn't have been more pleased with how they turned out.

Much to my dismay, a middle one on the screen porch had a minor leak the 2nd time we had a rain storm! Since then we have been in a drought. The roofer returned to inspect the install, and ran a hose over the skylight to try and duplicate the leak to no avail! At this point we don't know if the skylight leaks or its a faulty install. Evidently it's one of those leaks where the rain has to come in at a certain angle, so it's now a wait game for more rain before the leak can be detected. Fortunately it's on an outside porch and not interior! For previous skylights, I also bought manual Venetian blinds from Velux; unfortunately this is not possible at present. It was easy, it is more difficult now, although I admit that when I asked Velux, they kindly instructed me where I could look for such product .
Bought my Velux 2ft x 4ft fixed skylight a week ago and had it professionally installed the next day. We noticed the difference between it and our previous skylight immediately. The Velux skylight is real glass and metal frame which is so much better than the previous plastic one. When it rains there is no popping sound of rain drops like the previous plastic one. Also the light entering the room is much more and clearer. I really like the quality of the Velux and highly recommend it to anyone considering a skylight.
