After attempting to copy family files to dvd the 100 pack I purchased ruined 28% of the disks. When they were inserted in my laptop they made a horrible noise. The first one locked up my computer and I had to cold start it to get the disk out. After this happened I quickly learned how to remove the disk without locking my computer. Buy with caution, the pre-printable label may be too heavy for some burners to handle.

I'm a songwriter and video director. So at times I'm in need of recordable DVDs so that I can share the visual stories of what I've written. These particular DVDs work well in that regard. They're also reasonably priced.I plan to eventually buy more down the road as I complete other projects.

I was happy with the speed of receiving this order and no complaints about the DVD's but I do have one complaint. When I picked up the order and the girl brought it to me and she was carrying it by the bottom and said that the top came apart. Up on inspection of it I noticed that someone must of dropped it and a piece of the bottom plate had broken off where you twist the top to attach with the bottom slots. I still took the DVD's as I needed them and don't know how it got broke or by who but the DVD's seemed OK. I just think that I should of never received them in the broken condition but I would still order them again. Andy

I ordered these injet printable DVDs to record our church services. I bought the Verbatim because of the protective coating making them resistant to scratching. I don't know if other brands have this protection. I believe this feature would make them better for archival purposes. What's with your pros, cons, and best uses? This has nothing to do with hunting.
At least 50% of them are not recognized by Windows. Trying to create DVD out of movies and at 50% of them have failed to either write or even recognized the disk. I ran into about 10 in a row that windows couldn't even recognize. Do not know if I can return them or not since some of them did work.
Verbatim DVD's have pretty much always performed well. I have never had one fail me once it is recorded. The very few times I have not had luck with them, the burning software I use warns me there has been a problem. Could have been my fault, I'm not sure. Probably less than 1% of the time. Otherwise, a stellar product. A good product and worth the price.
The DVDs are high quality, and good recording time (I generally get 8.5 hours out of the Verbatim DVD-R). I don't print on them as much as I used to (I have an old printer that does that). But the white surface is easier to read when you write on it with a Sharpie.
Over the years I have had very good success using this particular brand of disc. They seem to hold up well as I have many disc that are at least ten years old that still play without any problem.
I'm experiencing too many failures in writing to my latest batch of these discs. It's very frustrating when I spend the time, thinking it's writing OK, only to have it finally eject with a failed message. I'll go for a different disc in the future.
Hi, I read about bad DVD discs — really never happened to me. I bought several times them.Just the same program, the same computer refused to use DVD. Bad quality.,
