Works well, as fast as an internal drive for what I use it for. Small and lightweight, single cable (powered via USB).
So far so good. Only had it for a few days but ticked all the boxes and does what it says on the tin
The drive is working well with my Buffalo USB 3.0 interface cared in the PCI Express slot on a Dell Studio 14z. I am happy with it. An issue I had: I could not access my backup files in Windows 7 even as the Administrator/Owner. I had to find and use an Add-on to Firefox called Take Ownership multiple times in order to gain access. I still don't know why. I didn't like initial impressions when briefly trying to use the included Nero backup program, so I kept using Retrospect Express that came with an Iomega drive I already had. Since the drive is not self powered, I as expected needed to use the included cable to draw additional power from an unused power connector shared with my hard drive.
Bought this external hard drive as a backup drive for my laptop. Works well and efficiently without any problems, connected immediately.
Spindle speed is 5400rpm, not 7200rpm as advertised
