Has destroyed two sd cards. I have been using this as well as the built in sd card reader in my macbook pro to save time importing my footage and every card that that has been put into this has been completely destroyed,

I bought this reader as quick replacement 2 months back. Seems a little fragile and not close to USB 3.0 speeds!? Worked fine until it recently corrupted my SD Extreme Pro Card losing entire day$$ work.. I suggest try another brand if reliability is what you seek

I am a pro photographer and have used many SD card readers over the years. This one has corrupted 3 of my cards in 1 month. Before this I have only ever experienced one corrupt card in my life. Avoid this card reader.
After a couple of months use the card reader would randomly corrupt the any SD Card I would use in it.
My card reader died and I needed a new one, this one looked ok although I should have read the reviews first. It corrupt a lot of my photos and I’m extremely devastated
Wiped my sd card and corrupted it. Doesn’t work anymore!!!
If you use the adapter, it gets up to high write speeds.Without the adapter, its stuck on USB 2.0 speeds.Windows 10 & 11Used H2Testw 1.4 Storage speed write/reed tester to check if my microsdXC card was genuine.
This has worked for over a year in a school environment.Only been used with Windows computers though...
Corrupted all my photos. Very cheaply made and lose connection corrupts the contents of the SD card.
