This is the second pair of the versa grip pros my first pair of custom and I do have to say it's always great product! The added addition of getting to choose different patterns with custom embroidery makes it that much more personal now they won't accidentally walk off! Ha! But in all truthfulness I have enjoyed versa grips since I discovered them. I can't express enough how much they help in perfecting my form and utilizing muscles that I'm supposed to be using rather than focusing on my grip whether it be the strength or sweaty Palm days. Great product great company couldn't be happier! I also bought a pair of custom pros for my girlfriend and she loves them as well!

I was looking for a new grip and wanted to get in on the hype, so ordered these on a whim. Don't regret it. THESE ARE GREAT. Really like using the Gripps for pulling exercises like rows/pulldowns/pullups, and also heavy RDLs. I didn't expect much from the appearance of it at first, but looks can be deceiving. Really solid grip. Also works for pushing movements like chest presses and the wrist wrap provides pretty good wrist support. The leather material strengthens your hold on most gym handles, and so far it's pretty easy to keep stink-free as long as you air it out after each workout. All round a great gym gear

I work on my grip regularly. Minute-long dead hangs, scap pull-ups, hanging leg raises are all a part of my routine. I use an overhand grip for all my deadlifts except for the very heavy sets during which I use a mixed grip, and this has worked well for me. I watched a YouTube video that discussed the benefits of an overhand grip for all deadlifts, including the heaviest sets, and I noticed that this is the usual grip at Rogue Strongman competitions, so I decided to order Versa Gripps to help me with that. I found that I could pull more weight with the Gripps! They fit well and are very secure. I am a woman with a small wrist, and the Pro Gripps work better and are more comfortable for me than the Classic or Fit models. I used to use straps but found them uncomfortable and time-consuming to wrap (I probably didn't use them long enough to get good at it). I MUCH prefer these Versa Gripps for their fit, comfort, stability, and ease of use (no learning curve necessary; super easy to get on and get used to). THANK YOU VERSA GRIPPS!

I’ve used lifting straps for years, but I had no idea what a difference a Versa Gripps would make in the gym until I tried them. I first learned of them from a mention by a fitness expert I follow on instagram when he was demonstrating tips on a pulling exercise. So I bought a pair and immediately put them to use. They didn’t take much getting used to; in fact, they felt extremely natural from the get go.I now realize how my natural grip had been holding me back on certain pulling exercises. In just the last two weeks, I added at least 5 lbs to most of these exercises just by using my pair of Versa Gripps Pro.On the pressing exercises, I can appreciate the added support. I will probably be using these for those exercises as well.Overall, I can honestly say Versa ... MoreI’ve used lifting straps for years, but I had no idea what a difference a Versa Gripps would make in the gym until I tried them. I highly recommend them!
I never owned an item built so well out of all my gym items. I am coming from cheap $7 straps off amazon, and I am struggling to justify the price of these straps for their purpose. I have large hands and have no problem hook-gripping during heavy deadlifts, but I wanted to save my thumbs on the heavy volume work.I have had little success with these straps for deadlifting so far. They feel too small and too short for my hands so I have to bring them very far down my wrist which does not feel too secure. They also have slipped a couple of times from me which made me resort to using some chalk, which kinda defeats the purpose. For accessory work, they are fairly easy to setup and I can last a little longer on high-rep items such as heavy side raises without my grip ... MoreI never owned an item built so well out of all my gym items. They will probably last long enough where I can find a good method to use them, so I will not give up on them just yet.
Versa Gripps are amazing! My first day using them, I went from 55# single arm dumbbell rows to 60# at full reps. I previously struggled to increase weight due to my grip and balancing the weight with small hands. I’ve since added more weight with better form, as I can now focus on the muscle and pulling action vs grip. Stress on my hands has also decreased, which can be a concern if you are older. (Like me) Great investment! I bought a pair for my daughter, too.
Positives:Attaching the pads to the bar/handle takes no time or effort, relative to lifting straps. These are perfect when supersetting chest and back, since the pads don’t get in the way when training chest. Always had to take my lifting straps on and off between those supersets before.A friend told me that using these to grab the handles on dumbbells lateral raises + leg machines would marginally increase focus and performance, which actually worked to my surprise!Negatives:Taking them on will be a little awkward the first few times, but you’ll get used to it.If you happen to wear them through an entire workout, they might get a little sweatty.
So, I got these because I was doing way more DLs and lifting heavier in general in prep for my bodybuilding comp, I also already had similar symptoms of carpal tunnel so a friend recommended these to help bc he swears by them... I thought it wasn't going to be anything serious, but I love these. Sometimes, they're a little tight between my wrist and thumb and pinch when weight is really high (but I might've been okay going up to a sz small instead). However, idgaf. I lift beautifully with these. They make me confident in big lifts and still allow my callouses to grow. They're also great tough quality and get worn into well and quick. leather and fabric are both thick and the color was perfect!I thought I lost them this weekend and was sooo hurt. But I found them <3 ... MoreSo, I got these because I was doing way more DLs and lifting heavier in general in prep for my bodybuilding comp, I also already had similar symptoms of carpal tunnel so a friend recommended these to help bc he swears by them... Very excited to try out these grips. The hype was heavy. The performance is exactly what I expected.I should have read closer about the materials used. They looked like leather. Not a mention of the materials used in the strap description. The awful smell of this poly-whatever-naugahyde- hellstank really bums me out. I really wish it were leather. I realize this grotesque smelling material will probably last longer than leather, and have a better shear strength, but it's just nasty. If you ever make a leather one, I'll be first in line.
The XL Size Versa Gripps Pro are sized very nicely for overall push/pull exercises. Although my hands are only medium sized, the XL size is perfect for me! I would love to see an option from Versa Gripps to have the padding a bit longer (extended 1/4") and perhaps offer that option for a extra few bucks. This is my 3rd pair of Versa Gripps Pro and they are truly indispensable for me on Backs day or doing any type of chins or wide-grip pulls for for that matter. My only minor gripe is for the money,...I wish they would last longer. If you use them 3-4 times a week, you may be replacing them in about 16 months.
