Great grip and protection

Made in USA! And you can tell. Great quality of material and level of craftsmanship. As far as training is concerned, I use Versa grips for both pushing and pulling exercises. I train using the 5/3/1 program, which is based around four main lifts; bench, press, deadlift, squat. I use Versa Grips for all my main lifts.I use a false grip for standing shoulder press and initially it felt weird, like the bar would slip out of my hand, but it didn't move at all. It takes time getting used to, but they have a great video on proper use on their website. I wouldn't recommend using a false grip if you have smaller hands. For flat bench the grip feels solid. On both press and bench, my palm felt protected and I didn't have pain in the carpal during or after the exercise. I want to mention that I use wrist wraps instead of Versa Grips when performing heavy singles on the bench since they provide more stability for the wrist. On the deadlift, I use Versa Grips anytime I'm doing more than 1-2 reps. The hook grip is too uncomfortable for high reps and I want to focus on the exercise rather than fiddle around with my grip mid set. For example, on a 5 rep set, I will do 3 reps with Versa Grips, and last two reps using hook grip. What's great about the Versa Grips, is that you don't need to over-tighten, so I can quickly rotate them to the top of my hand and continue the exercise after performing the "wrap" reps. The grip with these is superb. It feels like it shouldn't work, but it works amazingly well. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Great product, definitely size down

Great product overall. I got a small, definitely size down. I did measurements and still find the small to be a bit larger than for my my hands. I wish I would have gone with the extra small because it does make it where I can’t use it for certain lifts because it feels a bit too bulky if that makes sense, overall great product and I would give 5 stars if mine had a better fit. I will purchase again when I wear these out and will size down to extra small or consider the “fit version”

Great universal use glove, the only thing you need to bring to the gym

I used to have to bring two different types of gloves to the gym, depending on if I was doing a heavy pull exercise or a heavy push or something with high volume that put a lot wear and tare on your hands. But since finding Versa Gripps about 8 years ago, I only have to bring them, and i've never switched back to using anything else and just keep buying new pairs to replace them as they wear out. They do wear out after about 8-9 months if you go to the gym 3+ times a week every week religiously. For the price of around $110, which you can get multiple normal gloves for, I wish they would last 1.5 to 2 years. That would be the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review. Must have
7 December 2023

So I’m not a big glove or hand wrap guy, because the gloves never really do the trick for me and the wraps have always been so hard to use, these Versa Grips are the best thing I’ve ever used at the gym to enhance my workout. I was so skeptical and afraid because of the price, but they are worth every penny, I’m able to comfortably lift more weight than usual on every single muscle movement because my hands aren’t slipping and I don’t have to grip the bar like a madman. Now I won’t do a workout without them. I bought the extreme version so I can only say that that are absolutely awesome.

Overall Excellent
25 July 2022

These have made a considerable difference in my training overall. The grip is excellent and setting up is very easy compared to other grips and straps I’ve used. The only improvement I would suggest is the padding around the wrists. The padding itself is sufficient, but I find the foam part has a tendency to often fold under when I’m tightening the velcro. This is not a big deal, but if it were somehow fixed to the outer part, this wouldn’t happen. At worst, it’s annoying and takes 3-5 seconds to fix, but it’s something that could be addressed in future iterations. Overall, excellent grips though, and the very best I’ve used.

Saving my forearms!
1 June 2022

I recently became serious about weight lifting. Though I'm pretty strong, I often struggle to hold onto heavy weights long enough to be able to complete 3 to 4 sets. It was also causing me soreness in my forearms. My coach recommended Versa Gripps. They are awesome! Way better than plain old straps and/or gloves. I do wish they were a little longer (half an inch to maybe an inch longer) because my hands are long and thin. They can feel a little awkward to me because they don't wrap quite far enough around bars/handles for my long hands. But overall, I'm very pleased and use them almost every day. Thanks so much for a great product!

WOW!
7 June 2023

If you struggle with pulls like I do, these are for you! On lat pulls or pull ups the first to give out for me is not just my grip but my hands that are all beaten up and callused! After using these, I felt like I could hang for minutes with comfort! Usually I hang for maybe 5 seconds (I'm a big guy). First day using these while doing pull ups and lat pulls and my hands were saved from the abuse and I could focus on targeting my back and lats for the first time without having to worry about my grip or hands! I was stoked! Great investment! 10 out of 5 stars! I can't wait to use them on deadlift as I bet these are just as good for them!
