I recently started my fragrance journey, so whenever I purchase anything from sephora I be sure to add perfume testers. I redeemed a sample for this just to try it out and I ended up really liking it! I purchased the full size from sephora during their sale event. I really like this perfume because its mainly a floral scent with just a tad of sweetness mixed in. I normally don't like sweet fragrance, but this one is tastefully done. The scent itself is not overwhelmingly strong, it is light and non-aggressive. I feel like this is a really nice winter scent because if fairy lights had a smell, or the glow from a firefly, it would smell like this. It gives me a really nice warm feeling. The first time I encountered Dylan Blue perfume was in San Francisco, California at my cousin's house in February 2020. Then most recently (just last Christmas 2021), my son bought me a set of different Versace miniature sets, and after trying the 5ml-miniatures of four of the most popular women's Versace scents: Yellow DIamond, Bright Crystal, Pour Femme Dylan Blue and Dylan Turquoise, the Dylan Blue stood out and brought back happy memories of our holidays in San Francisco. Good, Almost Great, But Not A Showstopper

I got a sample of this perfume from Sephora with some of my points. Is it a bad smell? Absolutely not. I can see why some people love this perfume. It is very floral and fruity, just as the description suggests. It is not the most complex perfume I've ever smelled (Tom Ford wins that prize), but it does have some subtle varying notes that make it unique. Is it my favorite perfume though? Not really. For those who love sweet, fruity and floral perfumes, you will LOVE this (please note, when I say fruity, it is not at all powdery, as it is fresh and slightly citrusy). In summary: Am I unhappy with this scent speaking that I used my points for it? No way, and I'm definitely planning on using this around the house or when I run errands! But, would I put down the asking price for it on my teacher's salary? Probably not.

Lovely, Fresh, Professional

Oh my goodness, this is such a gorgeous, long-lasting fragrance! I think the reviewers who said it didn't last on them simply went noseblind to it; I get compliments on this long after I've stopped smelling it, so I know other people can pick up on it for hours after application. Yes, the notes are common in other perfumes, but this is the best fragrance with its particular scent profile and it's a real cut above anything similar. The initial blast is very fruity, and then after about half an hour it dries down to the most ELEGANT creamy rose I have ever experienced! Floral scents usually give me a headache, but not this one; it's perfectly pretty without the pain. I'm in love with this perfume.
