My bun loves Origins Rabbit Food.Although a bunnies diet should mainly consist of oaten hay and fresh greens, kale, bok choy etc (no iceberg lettuce). When she is frolicking in her cat proofed courtyard, the only thing that will get her to come in is hearing the bag rattle of Vetafarm Origins Rabbit Food.We only give it to her as a treat and she loves it. It's much better than some of the high sugar supermarket treats with too much sugar, dried fruit etc.

Our dwarf rabbit loves this food. He has some health issues and is a fussy eater but he doesn’t have envy issues with this mix. He literally pushes my hand out of the way when I fill his dish. He has also gained weight which is excellent. I feed a mix of the pellets and fresh fruit and veg veggies. He hates hay and isn’t a fan of the rabbit mixes that have grain in them.

I highly recommend Vetafarm Rabbit Origins rabbit pellets for bunnies. Hay is the main part of a rabbit's diet and must be top grade. Vetafarm Rabbit Origins pellets add excitement to your pet rabbit's day as they are so tasty. They are made mainly of fresh fescue hay which is low in calcium and so good for bunnes, a touch of lucerne hay for flavour and oat fibre. Fibre is so good for a rabbit's digestive system. Remember to keep your big hay bag or hay rack full of a top grade hay such as fescue, timothy hay, oaten hay or barley hay. Kim Cooney from The Rabbit Sanctuary.

Happy with the product and service. I’ve got these pellets before but just wanted to review to say that I like that I could buy the 6kg bag because Vets Love Pets free shipping threshold is so low, it made it desirable.
I bought this food after reading the reviews thinking our bunny would love it. Unfortunately she doesn't like it. She won't eat it by itself so I mixed it with her old food and she tips the bowl out to rummage through for the parts she likes.
I use these pellets to help supplement my rabbits diet. He mainly eats greens and meadow hay but he loves these pellets as well. They're not as bad for rabbits as other pellets and a good thing to ensure your rabbits healthy and eating a mixed, varied diet.
The ingredients in this pellets are really good compared to other brands. The ingredients are straight forward and you know about 98% of them. It doesn't contain cereal and a bunch of stuff I don't know. My rabbit who is sick is eating this and is slowly getting better, 10/10 recommend.
My bunnies love the taste of these and would literally live in the bag if they could! I love that these are high in fibre and extrusion cooked. Win Win!
I have very fussy little buns but this is one food they will absolutely devour if given to them. I love how it isnt seed based, which rabbit cannot digest, and its species specific, which allows it to have the full needs that a rabbit needs in their diet. Big fan of Vetafarm products! Highly recommend, especially for your picky buns! (Only takes 1/8 cup per bun once a day! Bag lasts for quite a while!)
Too much calcium can quickly cause acute or chronic renal failure in bunnies. Don't take my word for it. Google it.Yet we continue to see products that are based on high calcium...alfala, lucern etc etc.Oxbow pellets (manufactured in USA) are a far better choice as they are based on TIMOTHY HAY. (low in calcium, high in fibre). We all know the accolades of Timothy hay. Also the Peters fibre right sold here by Petstock is along the same lines and much better.Oxbow also do a brilliant rescue remedy called "critical care" which I have saved many a Cavy and even my dwarf lol from gastric stasis when she was 2.As I said....don't take my word. Also please don't learn THE HARD WAY LIKE I HAVE....
