I am not a true fan of feeding my fids any pellets or bird seeds. However my Eclectus Parrots absolutely went crazy on trying a small amounts. I know this is not designed for our Ekkies. I was honestly given a trialling of this. South American Mix. If you’re blessed with a Conure, a Macaw, or a Amazon. I honestly cannot recommend this prouduct for your fids enough. As I stated I’m extremely particular. I have very spoilt fids, but aren’t they all lol. I hear a huge difference between brands and and what’s the best. I’m in Oz so this is wonderful for people in Australia. However if you’re overseas, and can get this brand shipped to you. In fact I had great success raising babies on the Neocare H/R mix. Note:: Above this American brand here, a bit further above. Is a magnificent pellet that’s definitely suitable to your Eclectus Parrots. The packaging has a “pair of Ekkies”, on the front. It is not the first couple of packets which can also be used for our Eclectus, such as maintenance pellets. A bit of a secret advice I discovered this with feeding a particular fussy boy here. That is you can put a bit of boiled (warm only) water on the pellets & mash them upLike weetbix. Another great idea to ensure you fussy eaters or young will take these wonderful pellets. Our bird really likes this feed but I find it the price difference between this and similar products is somewhat excessive.

My Conure Kiwi loves them! Before I adopted him, he was on a seed diet. Even though his colors were bright and he was in good nick then, I cannot believe the change in him since then and bringing him home to Vetafarm pellets! He has gotten more colors come through and his feathers are bright and shiny! I cannot even begin to try and explain how good he looks and I didn't realize that he could get even more colors then he had to start with. As a Veterinary Nurse and a experienced person with birds, I see a lot of birds especially sick ones that come into our clinic and most are on seed diets and as a result are under nourished and not getting the nutrients they need. My pr of b&g macaws love this as an additive to their normal diet. I ONLY use Vetafarm products as I find them to be the best
My little guy Zorro loves this stuff after turning his beak up at Passwell pellets. Its great for him - he has lost 15 grams since I changed his diet and is fitter than ever!! Heaps less wastage and neater around his cage too - recommend this product!
