I bought this bag 7 months ago and love it. I like that it was designed by someone who has worked in the trades. This is my go to bag when I am working on rooftop package units. The weight of the tools get dispersed evenly over the shoulders and back. My favorite feature is the extendable hook for hanging my bag when space is limited. Thanks Veto for making a tool bag worth buying and tough enough to handle whatever I through at it

I've used multiple tool backpacks and haven't been impressed this much so quickly.I am a data/telecommunications tech and instantly fell in love with the veto pro pac tech pac. Tools fit conveniently in the endless pockets within the bag. Durability has been the largest issue I've come across with other bags and so far this bag takes the cake.There are only two downsides to this bag. 1. The bag is a little heavy by itself and 2. There is no tape chain for my electrical tape (easily fixed with all the d-rings hanging off the sides of the bag). Other than these small "issues" this bag still deserves top rating in the construction tech world.

Great to have the two straps for carrying. Brilliant quality and very well arranged. The straps are great and the zips seem very good and are able to be locked with a small key lock
Not sure why but my 1st review was never posted. But the website was updated and the made in USA was removed so someone read it. That was the main reason I bought it and the first thing I saw when I opened it was made in China. The bag is made very very well and yes it is heavy but if you want something to pass on to your kids this will last. I’ve only been using it for a cpl weeks with no complaints. Except the made in China issue. If this review gets posted I’ll try to update it after using the bag more.
This is a great bag . Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the weight . Yes I understand it's made that way so it last forever but who's tool bag if regularly used lasts 5 years ? I for one will up grade or replace after 5 years or the zippers start to fail . I might replace it with another veto back pack if nothing better is out there . I've had the CLC bag and the Milwaukee bag . Neither come close to this bag . I wish I could give the bag a 4.9 because the weight issue is really a small issue . Can't go wrong with Veto . I also have the Tech XL for my install tools . Great investment
I'm going on about 6 months with the Tech Pac and its holding up great. I'm a full time HVAC service tech. I haven't had any issues with the zippers or pockets, the padding that goes against your back shows no signs of wear. I was worried about that when I got it since it is somewhat of a softer material, but I've just been carefull not to snag it on anything and it has held up.The shoulder straps are staying nice too, the on only issue I have is that the adjustment straps don't stay where I set them, so I am having to adjust them a few times through out the day, I'm in and out of 2-6 houses a day and the straps loosen up a little every time I take the pack off or on.It is very comfortable to wear even if you load it heavy, it spreads the weight very evenly ... MoreI'm going on about 6 months with the Tech Pac and its holding up great. Climbing through roof hatches and up ladders is easier too as this doesn't extend out from your body very far while wearing it.
Im 57 and an electrician for 40 of that. over the years I have had a countless number of tool bags, pouches and belts, always looking for practical and durable ways to carry my tools. I never considered a backpack because thats what kids carry books in. Well in 2022 this bag looks like it will that me to retirement and then pass it on to my Son. I can put 90% of the tools I need to do most jobs, throw it in my truck, get to the job, throw it on my back. Hang it up or stand it on its end. I wish I had this 30 years ago.
I've been using backpack tool bags since they were invented. They wore out so quickly, I would go through one per year. I bought this one 3 years ago and it's not nearly done working yet. It's very expensive but lasts so much longer than the others that the cost per year of ownership is lower! Do the math. Buy this one.Then hire a guy to carry it for you. Mine weighs almost 25 pounds now :)
I've tried many bags over the years, and nothing holds up to the veto. Yes it is slightly heavier then most other brands, but the quality and pocket layout is excellent.
