The Vibram FiveFingers KSO Men's Running Shoe is a minimal trail shoe that provides incredible feedback from the ground. It's designed for running and gym work, and features a durable rubber outsole of 3.5mm in thickness for a high level of ground feel and excellent traction on wet or dry surfaces. The shoe is very flexible, allowing for natural foot movement without restriction. The individual toe pockets and flexible sole help engage muscles in your feet that are rarely used, strengthening your feet and lower legs. The upper is a stretchy polyamide fabric that fits close to the foot and features a Velcro fastener to secure the foot. For added comfort inside the shoe, a stretchy material is used. This shoe is suitable for men, and is available in Euro size 44. It comes in a black color.

I use it mainly for indoor training: treadmill, spinning (not so often since not comfortable on the metal pedals due to no cushion), and weight/lifting. Good grips, washable. For size: use the size guide. I use V-train 71/2-8 Woman and one size-up for this KSO Men due to my large feet.

I bought this same shoe several years ago in a different colorway. The shoe lasted many years used only indoors, but the sole eventually separated from the upper on both feet...the glue did not hold over time.I do prefer the lace system in this model over velcro. This model has strong grip which does not work well for cardio exercises on carpet. I found the original KSO and V-Train 1.0 models had much better support for stability and lateral movement. While this is not my favourite Vibram model, they are good for core/yoga and I did rebuy.

These are great gym trainers... switched over to KSO EVO from Fivefingers V-Train that felt good but a little bulky.KSO EVO are comfortable, snug like gloves and provide all the ground feel needed for my Kettlebell practice. Carry, squats, swings, clean & presses, snatching, TGUs, lunges... this foot-glove is even better than my previously fovoured V-Trains.

The product was an eu size 47. It fits my slightmy abnormally shaped and orthopedic disordered foot. The sole is a bit narrow for me in some parts so I sometimes step on the non sole part. Surprisingly the size 37 is just a bit longer than my foot, (which is very wide and tall but not so long apparently) and the shoe still fits very comfortably. It doesnt move around or scrape anywhere, it is as close as I can get to walking around with bare feet and still be socially accepted. As I spend most of my time barefoot the product felt very natural from the start, the only thing that took a day of adjusting is the fact that my small toes were slightly more separated, but it was also a comfortable feeling from the begining.Very great product, all around good to use, I ... MoreThe product was an eu size 47. Very stylish very comfy.Would recommend for anyone and everyone! Can't wait to buy other shoes from the company, they make quality products.
After several years of regular use, my beloved TechAmphibians finally bit the dust. I was looking for a replacement pair of water shoes that I could use for paddling, sailing, camping, and just puttering around our waterfront. This is my first pair of FiveFingers footwear, and I confess I was a bit nervous about how well they would work. Turns out, no need to be concerned. These are great. The fit is true-to-size, and since I generally would wear my TechAmphibians without socks, it makes little difference to have five-toed shoes rather than the "conventional" ones. Takes an extra 20-30 seconds to put them on, but rewards you with great tactile feedback and a bit of extra control on tricky surfaces. I am not (nor will I ever be) at the point where I would be running ... MoreAfter several years of regular use, my beloved TechAmphibians finally bit the dust. I am not (nor will I ever be) at the point where I would be running a marathon in these (I seem to prefer more of a cushioned midsole for those uses), but for the uses I was aiming for, they are just about perfect. Sole has great grip, appears durable, and I am hoping for several years of amphibious service from these.
I'm already a five-fingers wearer and other barefoot style shoes, so I didn't have to get used to them. I mostly wear them bushwalking because I like to feel the ground. I usually wear a pair of injinji toe socks with them, which I like due to sweating, but these aren't necessary. If you are considering five-fingers, please carefully measure your foot to get the right size—not smaller, not bigger.
I have worn Vibram 5 fingers for almost 20 years and have gone through many pairs. I ordered two pairs, one from Canada and one from runnerinn on Sept 9th. I thought I was getting a fair price, however I had to pay $25+ in duty before getting my shipment from runnerinn. My pair from Canada arrived in less than a week while the one from runnerinn took a month.
Bought these to compare against my original KSOs. They're both awesome shoes are now my go to whenever I want to go outside. Here's some comparison:KSO EVO- look a bit cooler :)- look more like traditional shoes, together with their design it makes them more suitable for going to city etc- the sole is a bit more flexible (but I'd say I feel the ground a little bit more in the original KSO)- the lacing looks nice and is quite practical with that velcro on it, but it definitely takes longer to tighten compared to KSOs- the sole does not go that much around your feet, meaning they're easier to get dirty when you go through terrain- better ventilating, the ventilating fabric coverage is higher- missing a strip on the back of the shoe, which allowed me to put on ... MoreBought these to compare against my original KSOs. I actually like the feeling of the smaller pouches a bit better.KSO- faster to put on: there is this short strip on the back of them which eases putting them on- faster to tie: you don't have to tighten the lace by segments, you just tighten the one strip, put it on the velcro and that's it- the sole goes more around your feet, making them more suitable for going through mud etc, it's quite easy to get the fabric dirty with KSO EVO- the pouches for toes are smaller and there's visible spacing between them, the toes fit there tighter, I actually like the feeling.
likeNever had a pair of shoes like this. It does take a little getting used to. They are very comfortable and I really love them. The only drawback is that on my feet the material between the toes causes a slight numbness if I keep them on longer than 3 or 4 hours. I would love to wear them all day around the house. But to be fair I do have neuropathy in my feet, so that may contribute to the issue. Overall, you couldn't ask for a better made, more comfortable shoe.
Excellent shoes for indoor training or casual lifestyle stuff, as long as you don't mind the occasional odd look. My experience has been that their durability is middling and may have gone downhill in recent years, but that may just be, well, my experience. The fit can take a couple tries to get right, and they do stretch a bit with initial use, but they won't really fit all feet equally.
