This is the first no touch thermometer I've owned that actually works right!! It gives an accurate reading each an every time. It gives the temperature in a matter of a second if that, which makes it so easy for smaller children who don't like to sit still. It beeps repetitively if a fever is detected. Overall it's a great thermometer and I'll recommend to anyone!

Love how easy to use and read this thermometer is. I do not have to touch my child's forehead in order to take their temperature accurately which is a huge deal for me since both my little ones are light sleepers. The screen has different colors to let you know if they have a high fever or not so even if you aren't sure what constitutes a fever the color on the screen will help you determine. It also can give temperature of the baby's food or bath water so you know it's not too hot. Great for new and experienced parents

DO NOT BUY THIS THERMOMETER! It is terribly inaccurate! I bought the Vicks No Touch 3 in 1 Thermometer at a CVS Pharmacy near my parent’s house, because my 16-year-old son came down with influenza while we were visiting them over the Easter break. I usually use an ear thermometer at home, but we didn’t have it with us. I just wanted something inexpensive and easy to use to see if his fever was responding to ibuprofen appropriately. I followed all the directions. I had the thermometer sitting in the same room as my son for 30 minutes, he had no blankets or pillows near his face, no hair or sweat on his forehead, etc. He was just sitting on the couch watching TV. Just for anyone who doesn’t know, a temperature of above 105 F requires IMMEDIATE medical attention. Luckily, I’m a nurse, so I knew my son didn’t require immediate medical attention based on his other symptoms. I was, however, immediately suspicious that the thermometer I had just purchased was not accurate. I was able to rummage through my parent’s house, find the ear thermometer I had given them several years ago, and use it on my son 5 minutes later. The ear thermometer registered a temperature of 101.8 F. I immediately retook his temperature with the forehead thermometer and got 105.8 F again! 4 DEGREES F DIFFERENCE! Someone with less knowledge, probably would have rushed their child to the ER and paid a heavy price. This thermometer shouldn’t even be on the market. I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS, IF I COULD! I HAD TO GIVE IT 1 STAR JUST TO POST A REVIEW.
