It cuts through a thick sourdough crust beautifully, the blade isn’t too thick but still feels sturdy. We read a lot about the different types of bread knives, and Victorinox is a good balance between quality, performance and cost. We paid more for the rosewood handle purely because we liked the look of it - thus the four stars for value for money. We have other knives of theirs with the rough plastic handle and they’re amazing too. I would highly recommend this knife.

Really sharp out of the box and totally feels like premium quality. We are now using it not just for the bread. And Peters of Kensington came up with quite the tempting price.

Love this knife - it’s lighter than I was expecting but cuts through my home baked Sourdough like butter.Really pleased with it.
Great knives. I bought a a variety of Victorinox knives for myself 25 years ago when I was working as a cook. They are still going strong. Nice and light to use and cut, chop and slice well. So when my daughter was setting up her own kitchen I bought these for her as well.
Love this bread knife even it has strong rosewood smell on handle. Able to cut all type of bread including sourdough!
Very satisfied so far, great knife for the price. Slices bread very easily without squishing the loaf or sending crumbs and fragments everywhere. Highly recommend Victorinox knives for those that don't want to spend several hundred dollars on a set
