Another magnificent offering on the Annual Limited Edition offerings from Victorinox. This, their largest in the LE range, is larger than life and as always; a very high quality and expertly designed knife. The pictures don't do this knife justice and the blazing orange colour (know as Tiger orange) captures the lightly beautifully and reflects a depth of orange shades when you turn it in the light. Highly, highly recommended!
Was very much looking forward to receiving this item however upon opening the box and reviewing the blade, there appeared to be a cut like mark on the side of the blade which is not what you expect nor want on a limited edition item.Customer support have not been helpful in answering any of my questions in regards to returning the item. Not once was I able to get through to them on the phone and so I had to use the 'ropy' form online. I have no confidence that the return process will work due to customs issues returning back to Germany from where these items are shipped from.Victorinox, if you are reading this please help with this matter and please review the quality of your customer support reps to answer basic customer questions.
It’s a beautiful piece - larger than expected but that simply means it goes into the collection rather than every-day-use :-)
my 5th Hunter and they are all matching my expectations. Perfectly crafted, smooth, sharp blade, an icon already now.
