Fans of the similar looking peeler will be disappointed with this cheese grater. The cut is very fine. After several minutes grating away at a block of Red Leicester the tiny wee pile of grated cheese was disappoint to the extent of frustration that I need much more work to cover a slice of bread!The blades are laid back to back so it cuts in both directions but makes it difficult to clean with a sponge which gets cut to bits in the process.For topping with a fine grated very hard cheese it is perfect. For being as cute as it can be it is perfect. It might even be grate for ginger etc. But as a "regular" cheese grater it just doesn't cut it. A few alternative blades would be very welcome.Recommend with reservations.

I can not believe the price I paid for this grater. If I was given it for free, I would still put it in the bin. It is very small and to grate a small amount of cheese would take a very long time . It is absolutely useless. Have Victorinox really put their name on this ?? Please do not buy.
