I have used other bread knives of good repute. This knife gives the best cut so far. Its so sharp that cutting through crusty sourdough bread is a breeze. I think the slightly curved blade makes it easier to saw through bread. I m very happy with it.

Just as expected, this length and thin blade are perfect for larger loaves of bread. It doubles as a great sandwich knife, pickle cutting, vegetables, meats, etc. and is not bad as a big spreader. This was better than the Amazon or other sites by about $5-10, have had some other big name, big $ serrated knives, this is the best. Be careful, cuts well by design.

As my SO started to bake bread at home, we needed a reliable knife to cut through the fresh bread.Harts of Stur had the wide selection and competitive prices.The purchase was easy, knives arrived safe and sound within couple of days.I have ZERO issues.I will definitely check HoS first, should further kitchenware needs arise.

A must in any chef's knife box who is worth his/her salt. It is described as a 'pastry' knife but I use it from carving roast meat to white cabbage for coleslaw. A great go-to knife that never needs sharpening and will still be going strong after I have long gone. It just does the work for you!
Not doing much pastry myself, I bought two of these knives, one for people who come to my place for communal dining and bring cakes, and another as a potential gift to one of these folk. They're amazingly sharp, and can be a bit dangerous. First of all, amazingly sharp: it does an amazing job of slicing a tomato, and probably will be great for cutting up tough-skinned veggies like pumpkin, eggplant, melon, etc. As for pastry, it'll be a 'piece of cake'. Dangerous: it has no bolster (smooth, protective part between the handle and the blade), so it's easy to catch a bit of finger on the rear of the blade: I've nicked myself several times already. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works on pastry, but already don't regret buying it at all: amazingly sharp instrument.
Great, no-fuss NSF-certified knife. It's exactly right for everyday bread and pastry cutting chores. It's not going to impress visitors like a hand-forged Damascus beauty with rosewood handle and matching display cabinet - but it will fit nicely in your knife drawer with all the other sharps and it does the job and then some.
Sharp, sharp, sharp, oh, and did I mention that its sharp Very light weight, I guess because of the plastic handle. Very satisfied with purchase.

I bought a couple of these a while ago and loved them so much I bought more. they are a great steak or dinner knife and I use them daily
I bought this knife while in the shop looking at other products but am so glad I got it. Its a good size and weight and stays sharp. The quality is just as you expect from the brand. Its really good for cutting fruit.
