This is a great quality product. I finally decided on this over the Leatherman on the basis of recent concerns about a decline in quality of the Leatherman products. At the moment not had it long enough to comment on how good all the tools are but the ergonomics and quality of finish are high. My only criticism would be of the leather pouch - aesthetically I would prefer a non-distressed leather that would acquire it's patina naturally. Secondly I wonder about the longevity of the velcro closure - I would perhaps have preferred a quality popper but time will tell

Quality piece of kit and so beautiful to handle and look at. The blade is razor sharp and the small wrench is invaluable if you own a motorbike (BMW) or vehicle with Torx fasteners there is a small selection with 4 spare slots. I coated the leather sheath with Leather Genie so it shines and is waterproof. There is also a model with a ratchet type wrench which looks amazing too.

Have still got my old one I bought years ago and still going strong. I thought I’d treat myself to another one and keep elsewhere. Absolutely fantastic but if kit, forget about other brands, this is the Rolls Royce of all tools. Worth every penny.

Quality multitool - for heavier duty use. The weight is not as bad as I had feared. Precision engineered. Best toolset of any multitool in my opinion. This particular model has both straight and serrated blades which I prefer over scissors any day. Brilliant price on FFX too. No -brainer!

Amazing Daily Use Tool

I have had the same tool for over 20years! It amazes me how strong it is, how versatile it is, and how often I use it at work! I just ordered another case for it and haven't been carrying it for a couple weeks so I don't lose it. I am constantly going to my hip to use it. Can't wait to get the case so I can use it again. Simply the best! I'm 6'-1"over 200lbs, run heavy equipment and use it hard with no worries. Costs a lot but worth every penny and then some!

Best multitool made.

My wife brought this multitool at Sams for Christmas 8 or 10 years ago. I use it almost daily and I feel undressed with out it. It still looks like new, but I have worn the name off of it. I wore the nylon case out several years ago and replaced it with a leather case that one of my Buck knives came in. The knife stays sharp with very little work. The spring on the sissers broke and I can't find a replacement, but I will keep on trying. This is my second Victorinox knife, and I still have it.

Great quality but heavy

I have been carrying this multi tool on and off for the past two years. The craftsmanship is great. I have found it is most comfortable with a very stiff belt. I wear a reinforced gunbelt and have no problems with it but with a simple cloth or thin leather belt the weight can get to you after a few hours. I am an aircraft mechanic and it gets quick easy tasks done very well. I wish it came with a button snap on the sheath. Great multitool.

Surprised by the upscale workmanship

I bought this thru a retailer this spring. I was totally shocked by the awesome quality of workmanship of this Swiss Tool X. I compared it to the other top-name brand multi-tool makers and this was hands down far above the others. I have shown it to a friend who is a tool and die maker and he was also amazed as to the great craftsmanship of the metal and the workings of the tools. I will always purchase these multi-tools for presents when needed.

best tool in my collection

Of all the pocket knives and multitools I have, and I have many, this is hands down the best. It's not like it's perfect. The blades could do with slightly easier opening, the wire cutter is maybe less sturdy and sadly not replaceable - so not ideal for barbed-wire cutting (if that's your thing). otherwise it's just an incredible package and it just works. would certainly buy again. and again.
