I recently got this knife and it does a great job. I bake sourdough bread nearly everyday, and always use this knife. It has a sharp serrated edge that allows the bread to be cut precisely, and doesn’t cause it to become smooshed or crumble. I have also used the knife on soft foods/desserts (cake, pastries) and it works well then as well. My only complaint is that the knife tends to get scratched easily. Overall I would recommend this knife, as it has became an essential in my kitchen. I received this product in exchange for an honest review.

This bread knife is very sharp and goes through the bread very smooth, no smooshing. I used on a loaf of fresh Italian bread and it was perfect. The packaging was very plain, but the knife is so nice! I will be buying other knifes from this brand. Also ordering them for wedding gift baskets. Thank you for the amazing product.

This is a fantastic, high quality, durable bread knife. It came nice and sharp, perfect for cutting thick loaves or harder breads like French bread. The handle is comfortable and easy to control. I would recommend this product and I’d love to try their other knives! Would make great housewarming gifts, or wedding gifts, they are definitely high quality knives.

So excited to see I received the Victorinox 8-Inch Serrated Wood Bread Knife. This was my first Victorinox Knife and wow I was surprised. It is such an elegant and professional Knife. It is very sharp, light weight and durable. This knife definitely exceeded my expectations and is a great quality chiefs knife. Very sharp and perfect for cutting bread. Works amazing! I received this product for free from Influenster and Victorinox in exchange for my honest review. This bread knife is so well made, super high quality and durable. Literally glided through my croissant, I need to make some good homemade bread soon and use. It is no hassle like other bread knives where I have to smash bread to get through. I was given my previous breadknife by my aunt when I started at university over 40 years ago. Now that I have to slice 70 buns each Friday morning for the sausage sizzle at our food bank and community cafe, I decided it was high time for a new one. However, I was astonished to fine I could buy a breadknife for any price between $30 and $900 (RRP) according to the Kitchen Warehouse website! This Victorinix knife is a good combination of price and quality - more than I thought I would pay, but an excellent sharp blade that makes slicing easy, and cuts nice thin slices from my homemade loaves. I also like the traditional look of the wooden handle - in keeping with the old knife that I finally retired.
The last item I bought was a Victorinox 21cm serrated breadknife with a rosewood handle . It is as awesome as I expected. Sharp, comfortable in my hand. I would recommend this knife to anyone. Victorinox has been my favourite brand for many years. I have chefs in my family and they all use Victorinox knifes. I always recommend Victorinox to friends and family.The customer service at is awesome. Friendly and staff are always ready to have a laugh with the customers.Even amongst themselves they are always “Happy”, a very important factor in a day, especially a working day. It means they must have good working conditions and great management.The products I’ve bought there are long lasting and my favourites to use.Thank you for being you!!!
I have no complaints about this knife! It’s been great for cutting through my home made sourdough bread and it works well on the dry crust. I haven’t heard of this brand before but it had me looking into other knives from this company. It is a well made knife and wood handle looks very sleek.
