As a DJ, who used to play on turntables and moved into the digital era years ago, I never thought I'd ever use a turntable again. Even with the newfound interest. However, this Victrola Revolution GO has made me a believer. The nostalgia is certainly there. Portable? Great bonus! But it has to be the flexibility of this portable player that impresses me most. Whether playing from its built in speaker, connected to my big Bluetooth setup, or plugged.inti my analogue amplifier, this player handles it all. It's now a big part of entertainment at our house for dinner parties or just hanging out.

I've ordered 3 of these machines from 2 retailers. All 3 machines had the same issue: the battery wouldn't charge, and even while plugged in, the record player wouldn't play for more than 10 seconds.Note: I live in Belgium, so I can only assume that the machines from those retailers (all very respectable, by the way) all come from the same warehouse filled to the brim with defective machines. My guess: the cheapest type of battery that just can't handle not being used for more than a few months.Victrola support didn't take me very seriously either, stating that they "have not had other customers complaining of such a problem." I hope I can one day get a rechargeable record player that does work, that would be great!

I'm at my wits' end. This is long, but I want to tell the whole story. I purchased the Revolution GO because of the portability and the cool factor. I received my FIRST order and the player did not work. The battery would not charge and even when plugged in, the record player would only stay on for about 10 seconds before shutting itself off. I contacted Victrola and they sent me another one. SAME PROBLEM. Like EXACTLY the same problem- battery would not charge and player would not stay on even when plugged in. Bummer. Victrola support became hard to reach, but eventually they sent me another return label and then shipped my THIRD player. This time they said this would be my "final replacement." (?) I received this "final replacement" and it did not work. What are the chances? SAME problems as the two before it. The day I received the last player from Victrola, I saw the same player on Best Buy's website and thought maybe I might get lucky with a player from a different batch (all the previous players were manufactured in 11/21). I got excited when I received a player from a different month (8/21), but ALAS, IT WAS THE SAME. IT DOES NOT WORK. I returned my FOURTH player to Best Buy for a refund, no problems. But now, Victrola will not answer my emails and phone messages. I am out $199, I have a turntable that does not work, and VICTROLA WILL NOT RESPOND. Save yourself the headache and go get a Crossley or any other brand of player. The Revolution GO is a super cool idea, but NOT IF IT DOES NOT WORK. FOUR record players and NOT ONE WILL FUNCTION.

I really wish I could love this turntable, but I had a problem with the first unit. I returned it and the second one came with the same problem. It doesn’t keep the spinning speed. Since December, I had to adjust the motor speed many times, already installed a new motor and didn’t solved the problem. it specially happens when you change from common lp’s to 180g lp’s. On 180g it starts spinning in one speed and during the same side playing it starts becoming slow. To complete, I bought it in US and brought it to my home in Brazil, that doesn’t have Victrola support. So, you can imagine how sad I am with the purchase
Love this table! It is such a fantastic option when it comes portables. It is by far the best new option and it can very much hold its own up against the Vacuum and Sony portables of the past (which are $300-$2000). Best bang for the buck. The combination of the table having a real cartridge on it and the speakers, it fills a large area with music. All of the features work well (I used the Bluetooth function to hook to my HiFi and it sounded great) and are simple to use. Can’t say enough about this little table except get one and you’ll understand!! -Had, SloLow Vinyl Records
this app also is not allowing me to attach the pictures although I made them low resolution. first thing I noticed when I received this package was the sound of pieces rattling inside. I found a chunk of metal and a plastic piece in the box and another chunk of metal in the turntable. I have no idea where these go. the cover to the turntable is super cheap plastic. the pieces that hold the strap can't be trusted to make this portable. I'm really disappointed in the quality from this company. we previously had a no-name brand that cost much less and was much better quality.
Been in the market for a portable TT awhile and ended up giving the Revolution GO a shot and I'm glad I did. Sounds great, looks great, love that it has Bluetooth both ways (been listening to podcasts on it). I've got it set up on my desk in the office and can't wait to take it on some digging excursions. Got the black one and looks super slick. It's rechargable and battery life seems great too, glad I don't have to use a bunch of D batteries. Even plays 78s!
Great way to get into playing music on vinyl. Works as it should and sounds great as a basic setup. I love the portability and am using it more than I would with a static component setup. I also like the headphone jack and bluetooth connectivity. Battery lasts long, though I wish it was more accessible to change for a new battery if ever needed. Playback has been crisp and clear with no distortion. No issues with skipping or speed variability - it does what it is supposed to, better than it should be!
I previously owned the Victrola Re-Spin. It's good but my vinyl collection deserved an upgrade. The Revolution Go is the perfect option. On first impression, it feels more sturdy but similarly requires a small footprint. It sounds fantastic: I've tried every music genre in my collection - the sound is rich with real bass. I was actually surprised about loud it can get - you definitely won't need to turn it all the way up.Where the Revolution shines is in its portability: a few days ago, I had some people over and we took the turntable and a few records outside on the patio. Everyone was impressed and it really makes a difference compared with a phone + bluetooth speaker set up. The onboard battery lasted long enough.Overall, highly recommended!
I bought this record player as an upgrade from my previous Victrola record player and it was so worth it. The speakers are very clear and loud, with the design being sleeker. I found that the records that would skip on the other player I owned didn't skip on this one which could be because of the better needle. I think this works for someone who enjoys playing vinyl in their free time for a few hours a day or just bringing it out when they want to use it. The wireless and bluetooth features of this record player are really good which allows for travel usage.
