The 12V, 13A Blue Smart IP67 Charger from Victron Energy is a fully waterproof, shockproof and ignition protected battery charger, making it ideal for use in harsh environments such as the cockpits of open boats, in engine rooms, lockers, bilges or any outdoor charging application. The resin-encapsulated electronics and sealed cable-entry glands means that water, oil and dirt will not damage the charger, and the tough aluminium casing ensures it is rugged enough to withstand the most demanding of environments. The built-in Bluetooth allows you to monitor the status of your charger via any Android or Apple device and all settings of the charger can be configured with the VictronConnect app. The adaptive 5-stage charging algorithm automatically optimises the charging process relative to how the battery is being used, and, unlike many other chargers, is capable of charging a completely 'dead' battery that has been discharged to 0 volts. It will also 'wake-up' a lithium battery that that been disconnected by its Battery Management System (BMS) and enable it to start accepting a charge. Recommended for lead-acid batteries with a capacity in the range of 65 - 130Ah. May also be suitable for smaller capacity lithium batteries (check the battery manufacturer's recommended charge acceptance rate).
